Chicka Ferguson. Used to have a smoke and a nap under the table in the dressing rooms before a match (or was it at half time?)

When Fatty was playing for the Roosters he used to have a nap about 20 minutes before half time.

Nah his voice is like that from an elbow to the throat he copped while in England. The smoking sure wouldn't help though...

Does he? I haven't seen that but I would be willing to bet he doesn't get the ciggie anywhere near his mouth before he drops it. If he can't handle a footy how can he get a grip on a smoke?

Dont know mate if they can maintain a decent level of fitness then I dont see a prob with it.

Personally I've just quit cold turkey for a week this topic makes me wont to light up! - Joke.

If the worst thing they do is have a ciggie then good on em.

some players choose to be like a Wayne Pearce, Anthony Mundine or a Des Hasler and live super healthy (nothing wrong with that at all)
Some players like to have a cigerette.

It certainly hasnt effected Smiths form in 2005 has it?

Yea fair point but geez, i wouldnt want Smith to have to run flat out for 100 metres, i wouldnt expect too many outside backs to be smokers.

he sure did. played fullback in the 50's and used to spark up on the field because there was nothing for him to do out there.
