Puig Aubert smoked on the feild did he not?

And if someone missed a tackle in the ;line didn't he let them go past for a try to teach the the player that missed a lesson?

Geoff Gerrard was a heavy smoker and played over 300 games. But with the pace of the modern game i'd be suprised if there were to many full on smokers playing today. Social? yes, arnt most of us, but not full on.

Ex Tiger Russell Gartner was a regular smoker as well i think, im sure i remember seeing articles years ago where he spoke about his love of a bunger. Cliffy was another who never hid his love of a smoke.
Plenty of willy nilly names being thrown about though, Mony if you've seen Craig Gower smoke he was either geeing someone up or must of been very very drunk AND lost a pretty good bet.

Ryan O'Hara is for sure. Seen him on many an ocasion at the Belco Labour Club enjoying a ciggie and a beer. Last sighting involved about four other Raiders who stuck to their Corona's and Schooners and even sat in the non-smoking section. Rhino kept having to get up and go sit sit by himself in the smoking zone to light up. Nice form of peer presure from the boys, pity it's not working!!

I had a chat with Rhino last time I was in Canberra about his asthma, as I'm a fellow sufferer.

He explained to me that he has basically gotten rid of it using a breathing technique. I guess he can't use preventatives, etc as they're full of steroids.

I'll never get the whole smoking lark... :?

I guess, whilst you probably could be fitter as a non-smoker, they're not exactly marathon runners or rowers out there, you can get by.

Mark Soden used to love a durrie. Not bad for a hooker. I know Jason Ryles dont mind a ciggy aswell. Also seen Brad Clyde get on the cigs one night with Brett Mullins.

In my day we used to smoke a pack each at half time then have one at every scrum! And none of these poncy Malboro Lights, no, we have full strength Malboros with no filter!

i have seen a certain injured bulldog lighting up at the cargo bar in sydney. ITs not big deal.

true but you'd think being professional athletes and all they wouldnt be smoking

some players choose to be like a Wayne Pearce, Anthony Mundine or a Des Hasler and live super healthy (nothing wrong with that at all)
Some players like to have a cigerette.

It certainly hasnt effected Smiths form in 2005 has it?

Yea fair point but geez, i wouldnt want Smith to have to run flat out for 100 metres, i wouldnt expect too many outside backs to be smokers.

Lucky he isnt an outside back then. Unless the terminology for a 5/8th has changed.
