You see i actually really care who wins the lower grades, i want us to win, i love watching all 3 grades, all year i have cheered them all on so to me they are just as important and i will be shattered if we don't come away with atleast 1 title this weekend.

I don't think we will win Flegg as the Dragons team are just to big and strong (however i haven't written us off yet, we do have a great team), Premmies are our big shot and it is a great test for Taylor, if he wins this that will be a big confidence boost for him.......

I want the Tigers to win the GF, i have had a soft spot for Balmain all my life and it has moved onto the Wests Tigers, i love Hodgo and i really think he deserves a premiership!!!

Def. goin for the tigers!
Would hate to see a player like Thurston get 2 premiership rings in 2 years with 2 different clubs!
Where players like ET, JT and Hindy havent seen success, and are/were much greater players!

(repost)

I have been saying, i feel like i have been let down by my best friend.

I know i will forgive them some day, but right now, i want nothing to do with them.

I couldn't sleep on the Sunday nite after the game but am ok now.

The only thing is that I have no passion to watch GF as there is nothing to look forward to. ( I know the juniors are there but it is not the same).

I hope the cowpats win coz I would hate to see a smug Benji Marshall.

And I think the cowpats will win coz they got flogged by the Tiges a few weeks ago and Parra did not help the tiges in showing up any of the cowpat's deficiencies.

Glad to hear im not the only one that went through all of this.:)

I fully agree with your comment on Benji Marshall......

I am copping it from every client I have. I wear my pride of parra on my sleeve, and i have copped a canning once again.

I tell them that I am over it, but, they know im not. My workmates joke about me saying im over it now.

Funny thing is, when they give it to me it does make me laugh, cause they are doing it fun and support me by telling me there is always next year.

As for the no lifes that troll on here - their comments make me look forward to beating them again next year - which is ineviatible, cause Parra will smash all of them in '06.

Strange, isn't it?

In 1999, I was shattered. In 2000, I was fine. In 2001, I wasn't too bad either.
This year, I have been a blubbering mess.

Go figure?

Everyone is different I guess. I know Kate was a complete mess after the 2001 GF even though and she wasn't really much of a supporter back then. This year I think it was worse for me instead.

And I guess you won't be buying those GF tickets from those Pommie guys after all... :?

Really?? I think I am good this year because I didn't expect them to do as awesome as what they did with new faces and rookies

And I think that is another reason why I am good this year, our lower grades have done really well for themselves and I will also be there this weekend cheering them home :D

I really dislike Grand Final time, because it pisses me off to see other teams lift the trophy when we've been so close too many times. Call me bitter if u want but oh well lol
This year it shouldn't be too bad if our lower grade boys can take out their games though. I'm really looking forward to watching them.

Just a question off the topic.....people keep saying Brett can play lock although i havent seen him play....imo lock and center is totally different....has anyone actually seen him play there.
Also does he have a kicking game or is he like wagon in his hay day?

Brett could shape up to be a good lock, Ive always thought that former backs make the best back rowers and creative locks. His position is in the centres for the time being where he has really had a great year.

I don't know whether the fact I've been hanging out since '86 has made it all the harder, but they just promised so much recently, and I really thought that we were the best team this year and would go on and do it. Maybe I shouldn't have given myself so much false hope.
You know what they say......the bigger the expectation, the harder the fall.
