So many negatives

...f**k that 80 minutes. I'm spent.

Forced to watch it on 9 and the most biased consistent call of shark hate ever heard.

From the winterstein try til the fulltime siren.
Every pass, play and tackle of the Sharks was criticised and questioned. Even that tosser of a caller got on the band wagon with his tongue firmly between the butt cheeks of Gus, freddy, Lockyer. Anything to keep your job, hey.

So, many negatives.

The Holmes experiment which went for 27 games and ended the argument once and for all.

Gal letting the ball go - 4 tackles to go...78th minute, playing for a field goal. Just so dumb.

Fifita's 5th tackle choice in the 90th minute - just run straight and set for the shot. Nah....run sideways for the dumbest play since....well, take your pick.

Segyaro. Leeds is that way.

Maloney. What can you say. Flanno has to make a choice tonight - because another season of that will derail another campaign. Cannot head back into pre-season with a guy who gives less of a f**k than segyaro.

The refs.....well, not surprised. The NRL got what they wanted. No sharks.

I farkin hate losing. But I can accept being beaten by a better team on the day.

But that.....

That will take days to get over.
Watch Flanno's post match Media conference - He is adamant that Gall should have got a penalty with the Cows players both hands on the ball in the ruck -which would have won us the match!

I am a BBQ fan, but it is time for both parties to part ways for the better of each.

Moylan will be a good addition , with some different attacking flair, and BBQ will help the Knights up the table.

.
I agree.

I love BBQ and we are forever indebted to him for 2016. But it's over.

If you stay stagnant you get overtaken and we didn't even stay stagnant - we went backwards.

Alex Ferguson would win a championship and then go to market. And win it again with a different roster. An injection of new blood to reinvigorate the guys who climbed the mountain the previous season.

Mentally we were waiting for todays game since January and when it arrived we hadn't done the prep and got found out.

I love Gal - but the Cordner penalty which cost us 2nd spot. And the dumb play in the last minute at 14-14 today. You,re the captain mate.

And Maloney again...the joke is a bloke who sulks because he want's a million dollars spends the season playing like a bloke worth less than what he's on now.

Get the big broom out Flanno and start again.

I don't think it needs to be a big broom...but Maloney need to go.

How about we start by a clean out of the coach. Have loved Flanno but he seems to be out of ideas.

Madge would be a great get.

Be interesting to see what the coach does for sure. Either be like Maguire at Souths or a Bennett, who just makes tough calls with no fear or favour.....ok brisbane different scenario all together but if coach has his head in the sand about his boys club, it will be his undoing

Taumololo never got the ball down. If the ref just sends it up and says Ive got no idea - which would the firkin truth - they wouldn't have awarded it.

They showed the best angle after they'd awarded it...which showed it never got there.

That's what Barrett said last night.
The sole reason the ref is sending it up is because he has no firkin clue....but the fact he takes a stab means the correct decision CANNOT be arrived at.

You couldn't make that shite up.

Madge wouldn't be any better, look at how stagnant the Rabbits have been the last two seasons. Hopefully this loss will push Flanno on to make the hard decisions even if it means breaking apart Gal's heroes.
We are only one awesome attacking player away from being back where we were in my opinion.
Ennis should have stayed on another year and we should have chased someone to replace Barba at the start of the season instead of persisting with a Winger.

Ifs, gunnarhs, should ofs and buts. We were inconsistent dumb shitheads most of the season.

I fear for the likes of our champions Gal and Lukey. I reckon next year might be a very long season for those two.

Not that I am worried anymore (my new resolution) but I will take an interest in what Flanno does between now and November. I think the broom needs to come out.

Agree mate. The system is broken. The technology is there. The guidelines aren't.

I think Souths down fall has a lot more to do with Crowe and the Burgii love affair, Inglis issues and Reynolds always being injured.

Flanno and Gal have ruled the club for a long time now. They got their glory and it's time to move on.

Sharks have a lot to fix and a X factor player won't change things. Half the team look un happy and disinterested.

I would cut loose the following
Flanno
Maloney
Heino
Seg

Next year
Gal
Lewis

Bring in Moylan. I don't know what's happening at Penrith but Moylan needs a change and he will bring out the best in a few old mates in Wade and Fafita.

Don't start the rebuild in a few years when we start looking like the Knights. Start it now so we are on top again in a year or two.

Also have plans in place now to get Brailey 2 into first grade as well as the other top NYC players. Cleary is 19 and already a superstar. If they are good enough they are old enough.

Hey sharkies.....remember last grand final day....the full time siren after 80 minutes and 50 years....nothing will compare to that...
I just said it in the Game Day thread, I'll say it again here. I don't want to know what I would've been like had we lost that game last year.

I've been on the Maloney train all year but unfortunately I think he needs to go. Flanno can stay, but he's got a big offseason of tough decisions ahead of him.

Gal's should of been a penalty but doesn't matter in the wash up.
....
The Holmes experiment is a failure.
The older guys are another year older.
Chad will run the show.
2018 I'll be surprised they make the finals
