It must be exciting to follow a team that has much better players than their opponents are able to keep together. How many Warriors players are good enough to make the Storm side?

Congratulations Storm fans - get out there and support your cheating club that thinks it's bigger than the game. Four grand finals in four years obviously wasn't enough. Why should any other club get the chance to compete fairly? Them and all their fans can get f**ked. They can be happy making up the numbers while the Storm dominate week after week and year after year. f**king Melbourne Storm fans - spoilt, selfish f**kwits.

Just like people who follow any of the Big 4 in the EPL (and other superclubs in Europe) - sad losers who've never won anything in their lives keen to jump on the back of a multi-million dollar organisation designed to make fat losers feel like winners for 90 minutes.

ha ha do you feel better for that? Jealousy is an ugly emotion.

Theyre overflowing with talent and have NOTHING to lose....they can go right away from the normal bounds of the game and try anything they like...who knows what theyre capable of.

Excellent point. I wonder though if motivation won't become an issue for them.

LOL @ Matt Elliott on the Sunday Footy Show saying Melbourne could change the way the game is played forever like barnstorming teams in american basketball. The rest of the panel were looking at him like WTF? He thinks outside the square ol Matty, but some of his thoughts are insaenly funny.

i actually sort of agree with him.. funny ol Matty Elliott. The Storm tried some pretty entertaining things last, and it worked brilliantly.. although the Worriers attributed to this; but perhaps he's being too far-fetched with the whole 'revolutionising' thing

imo, the storm will have no large problems being motivated in attack.. it's the little things in defence (the clean up work etc) that they'll struggle with towards the latter half of the year

I would be proud too if my team which was stacked from 5 years of cheating, managed to beat a struggling side and act like gooses doing it.

The unfortunate thing for storm fans is that they have no right to be proud of anything their team achieves this season. Yes, support your club. Show up to games. Wear that jersey. But you can't boast about any victory they have already or might get. With the side they have illegally assembled they should be winning every game they play.

Unfortunately that also means that when you do get beaten thats worse news for you.

Don't hate on the other teams, their fans, or the nrl. They didn't do this. Your club did. People will back your decision to stick with the team and even respect you for it. But we aren't going to put up with any of this "we are the victims" and "look at how good we are" bullsh*t. If you're still touting that crap you've missed the whole point of why the Storm were punished in the first place.

Best of luck next year. Honestly.

This article imo is spot on

The devastating on-field combinations the Storm boasts, that sixth sense that allows Cameron Smith to know where Billy Slater is or for Cooper Cronk to hit Ryan Hoffman with the perfect pass, have been honed over years of training and playing together on the paddock.
Would the Storm have been able to do that if they weren’t rorting the cap?
No.

I honestly feel sorry for the Storm footballers and anyone else in the Storm organisation who had no knowledge of what was going on.
But all crimes, even those committed with a calculator and secret ledger, have innocent victims.
