1. The Dragons are an amazing team when on fire.

1a. we are the fringe 8 team people predicted at the beginning of the year.

2. The young guys are still just that - young. Another season and they will do well. Halatau played well in a side that was thrashed. The others will only get better.

3. Nick Graham and Michael Beuttner can go and eat grass.

4. We missed Satts.

5. Prince is not a good defender. The Dragons targetted him all day.

6. Without being overly critical of Wilson we need a real 5/8. Prince to 5/8 and Kerr to 1/2 with the cattelwe have at the monent.

7. God on our side to make the 8 ( these words coming from a convinced atheist).

8. Tigger can stick his criticism up his a*se.

9. Hopefully, we can recover and make it respectable next week against the motherpluckers.

No fault of any of the younger guys!Bronson didn`t get on untill the game was over,Bryce Gibbs held his own and definately didn`t go hiding whilst for some unknown reason Liam Fulton was omitted from the bench, even with two pull outs???

Fulton needs another 10kg to be a 1st grader. he has plenty of ticker, but the next off season will do the world for him, and i expect Sheens will be thinking along similar lines.

Viscious, I wan't criticisng the young guys (even though it may seem that way). I just think they will be better next year. Halatau was good, Gibbs was also good (although I think he was a little slow).

My main criticism actually is at the old crocks like Graham and Beuttner.

Give yourself an uppercut!Fulton is class. He is rangy type of build with plenty of pace. Why would you want to risk him losind some pace to put on too much weight?
Anyone who seen him carve up Parra last night will tell you he is more than ready!

You're both right. He has class and pace, but he's too small to play back row in the NRL. Lock he might handle but even there I'd like some beef. He could play 5/8 but realistically he isn't going to get a go there.

Ok Vicious, i've just uppercutted myself. So who did he carve up last night? Parra? It must have been PREMIER League, cus we played Saints today. he is class, no doubt about it, but he is too small at THIS point in time for 1st grade. Don't take my word for it, obviously a premiership winning coach thinks so too.

St George were truly to big & brutal in the forwards and targeted our left side defence out wide all day long. The game was over in the first 20 mins. I don't think anyone would have beat them today. We really missed Mark O' Neil's inspirational sideways runs.[/quote]

Turnstiles like Nick Graham and John Wilson aren`t a shade of the player Liam is even now.Liam is a confident player and by giving him good time in first grade, how good could he be by the end of the year? The sky is the limit!Bronson Harrison and Dean Collis are in the same boat. The Saints side emphasizes the need for youth, confidence, class and enthusiasm!

This is a good thread to start. What i learnt was actually something very similar to what Sheens predicted for this season. I've learnt today that after seeing Saints play a game very remeniscent of finals footy, we're not ready for the finals yet, still we have another 2-3 months to change that maybe but i havent got my hopes too far ahead.

We will learn from yesterday i've got no doubts and be better for it. But like Sheens said, we shouldnt expect too much this season, top 8 has and still is a chance, but after that, anymore sucess would be over achieving by a long way.
