I feel sorry for him if this injury was caused by him playing and not being 100%. Hopefully this wasn't the case and it was just a freak accident, like Ron said.

He just went down BIG TIME with no Sharks player anywhere near him.
I'm thinking it might have had something to do with the surface of the ground.
After the two previous games were played, ground staff were running around replacing huge bits of the turf into holes on the field.
Maybe he just trod in one of those.
If so, your ground staff might have a case to answer.
