Seriously if the Dragons lose to Manly on sunday the new taskforce set up to investigate match fixing will be all over the bank accounts of every man in their squad.

I'm getting sick of these types of comments. They are disrespectful to both teams and the game. There are upsets in sport - one team is playing without any expectations and nothing to lose, and the other team carries the burden of massive expectations. Manly are without several experienced players, but they are still a damn good football team, with some brilliant players and some potential stars. The Dragons are really only missing one key player (Dan Hunt), and have been the most consistent team all year, they should win but there is no such thing as a certainty in sport.

Being called chokers from other teams fans is funny actually especially fans from say Rusties merry wanks, The Cheats, The Hayne crash or even worse the green snots.

Its a simple reason its called deflection to deflect from other teams faults to make you feel just that little bit better about yourself.

Saints are the favourites to win the comp and you can get $2.70 on betfair. I really would understand the chokers tag if they were long odds-on to win the comp and failed. The bottom line is that it is far more likely that 1 of the "other 7 teams" will be premiers in 2010.
If they lose to Manly where they are long odds-on=choke. We'll see after that.
Missing a goal from in front to win the comp....that is a choke. Greg Norman blowing a 6 shot lead in the Masters=choke.

They will make the Grand Final along with my club Penrith...the two teams that truly deserve to be there.

If the Panthers do get beat by the Dragons,I'd respect them for it being that they have been the best performing side ALL year and would accept the defeat graciously as one should.

The dragons should lose the chokers tag this year. They've been the most consistant and best team all year. But as we all know 'Any given Sunday...'

The Panthers, Tigers and Titans all have the ability in attack when it comes together to beat anyone. They've also got the ability to screw it all up royally.
