The storm spine is better than that roosters one and the tigers spine of 05 is up there to with Hodgson, Marshall, Prince and Farah.

Assuming Doogz is a done deal and Catnasta is moved on the rorters will line up,

1. Dugan
6. Carney
7. Pearce
9. Friend

With time will be the best spine since Mullins, Daley, Stuart, Boxhead.

Assuming they can all stay off the piss and out of trouble.

I had a thought when watching yesterdays game.

What are McCrone's talents?

-Broken play running.
-Counter attacking.
-1 on 1 defence.
-Positional play.

What are McCrone's flaws?
-Kicking.
-Passing.
-Playmaking.

As much as I deathride him, I wouldn't mind seeing McCrone get a crack in the #1 if Dugan goes.

from the people I've talked to the dugan>roosters rumour is complete bollocks. It only come about after a few off-the-cuff comments from carney when he was down here about how josh should join him at syd city. As they do, rumours then snowball.

I'd be betting he stays.

i don't bet but i will take your money he will be off to the big smoke

the tigers did a bradbury in 2005 and of course you cannot compare the storm with anyone for obvious reasons. - 2002 - Phillips/ Fittler/Wing/Bonetti - can't beat that

id rather have Lowe or Vidot move to fullback, both are strong attackers and good footwork.

I wouldnt waste my time moving mccrone, he is just starting to play consistent at half back..last thing we want is to wait 2 years for him to adjust at fullback.

are you kidding?

McCrone is a terrible defender and is positional play is attrocious. He missed 10 tackles yesterday while only making 15.

It would be rediculous to through a halfback into the #1 when the club already has a number of specialist fullbacks in milne and hodge. Then ofcourse there's vidot, low, robinson, brophy and ward who could all fill in if needed.

He reminds me alot of McLinden, who although played almost all of his career in the halves was a fantastic fullback.

Assuming he is gone.... fullback is wide open.

Milne is always an option.

But i would prefer we go into the market and buy an outstanding young player who can soften the blow of losing Josh.

Shannon Walker doesn't look like getting a shot at the Tits behind Presto and Zillman, and is an excitement machine.

Jharal Yow Yeh is another that could be outstanding at fullback.

Also hear good raps on young Brit Gareth Whiddop.

???
i said 3 years ago we should sign shannon walker but the club doesnt listen

Catching can be fixed, Vatuvei is an International winger and he use to have dreadful hands under the high ball.

Talking to a delusional Roosters f**k on Wednesday night, he believes "unnamed sources" associated with the Roosters who have allegedly stated that the Roosters and the Raiders are currently negotiating the transfer of Josh Dugan to the Roosters in exchange for at least two players and a fistful of cash, all in time for the 2011 season.

Sounds like some inbred nonsense cooked up on The Wall.

Wouldnt surprise me at all Bileduct, if the club seriously thinks Dugan is gone, they might be trying to get some value from him

as for who to replace him with... Garath Whiddop.
