So, who would be interested?

What interest do you have in buying a season ticket in a dedicated bay at Parramatta?

Hi all,

With the recent discussion regarding a Parramatta Supporters Bay, I thought it may be of value to find out whether there would be enough interest for such a venture.
This is a bay designed for fans who want to try to improve the game day experience for fans, players and the Stadium as a whole.

The reason for the poll is simple.

We cannot go to the club and express an interest in setting up such an area, if it is not going to recieive the support that warrants such a request.
I have seen all too often at away games the apathetic approach by many Eels fans to promoting an area such as this.

I have attempted to choose the various choices carefully, giving options to those who may still be undecided, as well as those who are keen but unsure.

The results may well play a part in whether this issue is promoted further in discussions with the club.

I also realise that LU is a somewhat small database from which to work, but it may at least give us an indication.

Thankyou in advance to all those who particpate.

I think you might have to re-word the 4th option - it doesn't really reflect the sentiment of people that have their own reasons for not being interested in northern terrace STs next season?

Likewise, I have my own reason for not wanting to change where I sit, hence voted 'couldnt give a rats' (but I do Suit, honest  )

Yeh, sorry about that.
These polls are usually so sterile, so I tried to make it a little light-hearted.
You certainly won't be judged on your vote.

Not me. I'm cosy (and dry) in the Cronin Stand thanks. So I voted RATS as well. :D

Thanks... never sure with this place, how seriously people sometimes take what is posted. :sarcasm:

I can't make anywhere near enough home games to get an ST, but would certainly try sitting there if buying one-offs during the season. There isn't really a voting option for that, so I've gone with the undecided one.

That's good feedback, but a difficult issue to deal with.
I doubt the club would be able to hold open any number of seats for game day purchasers.
Then again, maybe they could.
This is all part of the learning curve, at a stadium with no standing room, which enables that option.

It shouldnt be, TBH.

For example, you have a set number of seats seats in bay 1.

X number are sold to season tickets. They're gone. Not available to anybody.

The rest, not being sold are available for casual purchase at ticketek by specifing what bay you want.

If demand is so high the bay is sold out to just STH (which would be great), then while some may miss out (which would happen anyway if seats were held open to game day purchasers and demand for a specific game was high, such as last week) the club could look at providing additional seating in adjacent bays in future years.

Not sure why the second option is there?:?

I voted Rats only because the number of people I attend with varies game to game so wouldn't suit me.

Yeh, not much difference between that and option 3.
Suppose it was there for those that couldn't commit themselves at this stage.

I understand the options were a bit vague, but I was also a little rushed as well.
Sorry about the confusion.

As far as home games go, im quite happy where my season ticket is. But with Away games there could be some merrit in having our own bay, I for one would go into a parra eels supporter bay and im sure alot of other people would at away games. It could be a matter of just emailing the football club as to where the bay will be at away games each week. That way they can put it in the newsletter.

Though then again you'd most likely need help from the home team to set aside a bay for you and make sure only eels fans are there.

It's no biggie. If I'm not willing to buy an ST then that's my decision. They should get priority. Just have to try and buy tix there if possible during the week.

I voted before I read elsewhere that the designated bay is in the North Terrace.

This poses as a problem for me, and probably a lot of others that most of us actually have very good seats ATM and wouldn't look at downgrading to behind the posts.
