So will Gallop get this fixed before ANZAC day?

Like I said earlier, it's been done on the seats at Parra Stadium all season, without incident. So it would be fair to say that what happened with the SFS seats was quite unexpected to alot of fans.

Amazing what happens when thug supporters teams get beat.

Guy seems like a try-hard douche trying to act tough.
Just like the rest of their euro wannabe crowd. "But their passion is unrivalled in all aus sporting codes". To try & justify these actions as merely an accident of over exuberant fans is idiotic.

Just because you may not have seen any broken seats doesn't mean none have been broken. I highly doubt you go around and inspect every one once the crowd leaves after each game to possibly know one way or the other.

so in gallops words, if fans who boo are akin to terrorists, what will these fans be called?

Well I wouldn't need to check every seat, since only the active section (North Stand at Parra Stadium) stand on their seats during games. If there had been any broken seats at Parra Stadium I'm almost certain that the Wanderers club would have received a complaint from the stadium.

Look I'm not trying to argue whether standing on seats is fair game or not. If you think it shouldn't be done, then I'm not really looking to change your opinion. And I can agree that in the end, the fans are responsible for what happened. The only reason I came into this thread was to address the idea that those seats were intentionally destroyed.

So why are the chairs upended and in the next row?

What would you say about the Jewish people that Hitler destroyed?

Read elsewhere parra stadium has to replace roughly 30 seats after a game. No idea if its true, but read it elsewhere.

that's purely because of the fatass eels supporters...

maybe if they weren't so lazy & perhaps walked to the game instead of getting the bus, and chose to eat fruit instead of burgers & cream buns, the poor seats would be safe.

lazy fatass eels supporters.

do some exercise.

State Of Origin at Suncorp. You might wanna experience it before you say something really dumb.
Advice for the seat wrecking soccer hooligan at Suncorp: wear gumboots.

Those seats probably weren't broken intentionally. Just to give a bit of context, at Wanderers games the active support stand on their chairs to watch games. Alot of the chants that the Wanderers fans do involve jumping up and down, so you can imagine how, what's depicted in that pic, could happen when you have a full row of people jumping up and down, while chanting, on their chairs.

I know it doesn't look good, just wanted to add some context. Make of it what you will. I actually saw some people accidentally break their chairs while doing the Poznan (which is something that involves jumping up and down).
Chairs are an ancient invention. They were designed for placing the users buttocks on them. I know soccer is a foreign game, but I am unaware of an world stadium that uses trampolines instead of chairs.

Jumping up and down - is that to ward off the boredom?

Sounds like Wanderers fans are Doggies supporters in drag.

Either way, destruction of a public facility is a f*cking disgrace. First you f*cking geniuss wanted to cover over the great names of Ken Thornett and Michael Cronin at Parra Stadium. Then you f*cking wreck it.

Advice. Learn to tackle. Develop a pain tolerance threshold above that of a super sensitive 2 year old. Evolve from a looting neo-nazi hooligan into some level of humanity that can leave a seat intact. And finally, follow a decent sport!

Dude you are trying to defend the indefensible.
Give up.
The photos make it pretty clear that the breakage is intentional.

You're joking, right? The media takes every possible opportunity to lay the boot into 'football hooligans'.

This.

But yeah also, 95% of actual A-League fans are cringing at these wannabe Football Factory 'hooligans' who think breaking chairs, ripping flares and throwing beer at players makes you tough.
