Softest half of Origin I've ever seen.

Graham Murray has no idea of the rotation required of bench players.
I think A Johns is a shoe in to coach the Blues in 2008.
Can't believe N Hindmarsh got just 56 minutes....
Murray Booooooooooooooooooooooo!

I think NSW had to chance their arm a bit and really put Queensland to the test. Instead both teams seemed to be playing not to lose, and didn't want to do too much with the ball for fear of making a mistake.
The only time the game got exciting was the final two minutes as NSW realised the playing not to lose wasn't going to get it done.
thats spot on .... they looked to scared to try anything - maybe worried about doing a jarryd hayne

Sorry, but is it just me that misses the big hits, the occassional fisticuffs, the controversy, the Sin Bins and the constant niggling.

FFS, tonight, I seriously could have been watching the Roosters play the Dragons.
I wouldn't have known the difference when it came to hammering the opposition S.O.O. style.

Only Mason and Hindmarsh deserve to play the next Origin, all the other forwards were pathetic. Not 1 hit amongst them. what a joke.

The game was slow paced and appeared soft because Hayne allowed ridiculous latitude in slowing the play the ball and markers standing side on. Gus banged on about why Buderus didn't run trying to blame the coach - the fact was everyone got pushed into running sideways. Lyon was by far the softest and worst culprit.

Coach's bench rotation was bewildering. Kite went about 60 minutes on the bench. Why does Ran play 80 but not Hindy? It blunts Ryan's attack, and loosens our defence.

Anasta mssing in action. Bailey a serial underperformer at Origin level. King a liability. Lyon gutless and ineffective. Stewart was solid under the ball but far too slow returning the ball and a chronic sideways runner. We missed the big outside backs in Grothe Tahu and Gas enormously.

A big congratulations to Kimmorley who I've been a big critic of. Tackled and kicked brilliantly.

Hayne was probably NSW best. Ran straight, hard and often.

We are far better off with blokes like him than that fat pig who didn;t deserve to be there anyway.

Murray to go. Selection panel to follow immediately.

I'm with Strider and I totally agree. I was thinking that at half time, hence this thread.

Softest game ever.

You're right. It's like the game has been stripped down and sanitized for the masses.
The inter-player feuds and rivalries are pretty much gone.

We've got the best players in Australia out there and one could be forgiven for thinking that they could put on a better game than that.

I agree with everything except Brett Stewart.

Every time he turned around, even though he had space, there was a wall of Toads approaching. For a first timer, I think he did pretty well. Maybe Minichello would have done better, but would have anyone else?

Brett Kimmorley played as well as he was allowed to by the person we have as coach. I think Muarray should go before Kimmorley does.
Our tactics tonight were deplorable.

It just goes to show that the media hype for the past 5 or so days has been nothing but that.
FFS, they gottta sell tickets don't they?

If I'd bought mine on the premise of a good match, I'd be asking for my f**king money back.

Hopefully game 3, now that the series has been decided will be a little more open.

Players maybe looking to settle some scores. And I'm not condoning high elbows to the face or dangerous tackles. Just 'fire up' a little.

Murray should be the first to go, he is a clueless boob who more than likely finished has Hindy's rep career. He played less game time than last match. Kite played 15mins and then wasn't sighted same with Simpson. Ryan played 80mins and Hindy only played 56.

Our attack was laughable, what had we been doing at training all week. It wasn't attacking drills thats for sure.

Agreed.

Even if NSW lost, I could handle it if we showed more passion and heart than tonight. Tonight for me, brought out the English in our genes. Absolutely no f**king heart.

That is so true. For people of this standard, it was an embarressment.

We lost because we didn't show enough flair in attack, the forwards went forward for most of the game but we lacked options in attack. Buderus played a defensive game and so did Anasta leaving it all up to Kimmorley. Mason was killing them in his second stint but Hindmarsh came back on too late and Ryan was no on his game I would drop him and bring in someone younger like Hoffman to start at Lock or even Bird.
NSW need to look to youth and not worry about the result in game 3, blood some youngesters and look for the future.

mass changes is not the option

i beleive murray needs to go... his game plans and all over coaching at this level is not up to scratch
if its possible re call sticky

we lacked creatitivty

to say our forwards lost it is not right, it was our game plan and the way we played in there half.
once we were there we were lost and did not know what to do

kimmorly busted his gut but needs a creative 6 and coach!
