Sure we have made a fair share of bad decisions and are playing fairly poorly, but people need to realise that not every club can be at the top all the time. Why is everyone getting so upset over one player get signed to Manly, when we have done miraculously well to keep both Hayne and Inu. We have our fair share of marquee players, they just aren't performing/are injured at the moment. You think those two plus players like Nathan Hindmarsh, Eric Grothe, Brett Finch (Still a decent player, even though he is slowly finding form) are easily retained when other clubs would gladly have their signatures?

Look at the positives.

SERIOUSLY.

WE HAVE BOTH HAYNE AND INU. We have probably the most talented backline in the NRL. When they start performing, you will forget that any of this has even happened.

Get over this loss, honestly. You can't have everything.

I was going to change it but the computers here are slow and weren't able to load the page again quickly enough. Well yeah, this may be the largest eels forum on the web and it is certainly very active and we do have passionate fans, but honestly, we have so many good players that just aren't performing at the moment... it would have been nice to keep him, but you honestly cant keep everyone.

I'm as disappointed as anyone else with current form, hopefully we can turn it around, but not everyone can be on top at once.

Yup, top idea. I agree 100%, we should all just sit back and chill out while the club is mismanaged and poorly coached back to our 90s also ran status...

That isn't even a good joke. Grothe does a tremendous job in attack and sure his defense has had it's really bad moments, but he is still an origin quality winger on his good days. It's not through lack of passion either, or having his head in the clouds, in guitar heaven... Sometimes little kinks can creep into peoples games and it takes a while to iron them out.

Yes, all you can do is sit back... you have no influence what-so-ever on how the club is run... you coming onto a forum and bitching about it isn't going to help. Lets do what we can with what we have, because things aren't changing mate... it's something you are going to have to grudgingly accept.

A few wins and people will be changing their attitudes completely.

Some of you fans f**king sicken me.

Wait until the season is over before you start chucking tantrums, perhaps even until the end of 2009.

12 rounds of a season being a poor is not a justifiable reason to get this upset.

We made the semis last year, what more do you want? We lost to the eventual premiers, WHO ARE CONSISTENTLY THE BEST TEAM THERE IS. You don't see fans of people who missed out on the eight chucking a skitz.

And guess what, Michael Hagan was our coach then!!! AND ALSO GUESS WHAT, WE VIRTUALLY HAD THE SAME TEAM.

Get over yourselves, honestly. Our time will come, and hopefully things start getting better starting this Friday night. I'll be there.

I know where all pissed off at loosing Mannah and especially Williams but what a great job the club has done to keep the likes of Hayne, Inu, Mateo, the Keating Bros, Ben Smith and Finch.

Plus when we consider all the players we have lost over the years and been pretty pissed off at the club for not retaining, how many of these have retained the form displayed at the Eels after leaving our great club?

Apart from Brett Hodgson, Cannings and maybe Jamie Lyon not a single one. All the others have been demoted to lower grade football or are playing in england or would not fit into our first grade squad or are injured.

well maybe Delaney, Witt and Graham any one else still running around in the NRL.:? I want williams back.

There would be no need to do this if the majority of the eels fan base actually realized that we have done well with the team and coach that we have had so far up until this year, which isn't even over yet.

Yes, I'm whinging about you whinging. There is only irony in that to the beholder, because if you weren't whinging to begin with, the retorts wouldn't have to be akin to those.

How else am I meant to get my viewpoint across to the whiners?

I cater for my audience.
