My ask of the team today, can we please put pressure on Moses on the last tackle.
When we played the Raiders, despite the fact that we knew with absolute certainty that it would be Fogarty kicking the ball (as he does 100% of their kicking), and the Fogarty kick is pretty much their only weapon, we put ZERO pressure on him.
Eels are exactly the same - Moses is literally their only kicker. He kicks them out of trouble (because their forwards are shite) from their own end, and his kicks are their main attacking threat - we simply have to put pressure on him - we need someone in his face every single time on the last tackle.
I’d also like to see us being the most desperate to jump on the ball when it hits the ground - any loose ball I want us willing to rip their arms off to get to it.
Little moments of competitiveness like getting to the loose ball first, or pressuring Moses so his kick isn’t as good are what we’re missing.
