I know its a little off topic but does anyone who is Fred Petersen (our jersey flegg forward) is related to Matt Petersen?? Brothers possibly???

I thought Fred Peterson was like 27, perhaps I'm confusing him with someone else.

Ian Hindmarsh could put on some big hits.

In a RLW players poll in 2001 or 2002 Ian was voted as the 2nd biggest hitter in the NRL by the 100 players polled

Interesting news about Kurt Jnr

don't forget that Parra have also signed Marcus and Henry Perenara and according to a post from Iafeta their old man will be coaching at Parra next year aswell.

Trying to take the Bullrunts "FAmily Club" title :D

PJ Marshall.....thats what i thought when i saw this thread lol ;-)

Suity,

i know you were tongue in cheek about Vella, but thats the most frustrating thing, when Vella is on his game and actually having a go - he CAN put on a good hit, but like most aspects of his game late years, we just don't see enough of it?????

Hurriflatch,

little Hindy could actually put some hits on consistently and see we haven't really had one who can do it regularly since him apart from every now and then from big Hindy, Vella and Caylo (and Kylie Lulauia)

fish eel,

the "Hit-Man" was my favourite player there for a little while because of his ability to rock people and just run hard and staright - he was a real legened there for us for ages

That's going to be tough, considering they've just picked up the Armit brothers off us, and we've split up the Hindmarsh, Hodgson and Witt families in recent years

Michael came down from newcastle round the same time i think, he lived with burty for a while and i remember them saying that was one of the things they had in common. Mick Hodgy is awesome, one of, if not the, best blokes in this game.

He had the same bad run when he first went to Canberra to and unfortunately has had a repeat this year. He was one of the better second rowers running around earlier in the year......... :(
