This is exactly what I thought when Frankie spilled the story to Juice. Jax seems to be willing to use any leverage he can to build a case against Clay which includes using Gemmas "smoke and drive" f**k up to get her in Clays good graces, so keeping Juice alive to have another ear next to him would make sense.

I cant help but feel that Jax is digging himself a very deep moral hole though.
