Farah is past origin, if they pick him game 3 it will only be to say goodbye to him.

And this would represent another problem with NSW... You can't expect supporters to fork out 90 or 100 bucks for a ticket in Sydney and have your team picking players that you're not confident represent your best chance of winning the game just because you want them to get a lap of honour at the end of it to say goodbye. They need to pick a team that gives them the best chance of winning - if Farah and Gallen aren't in it then stiff shit.

Norman went to the sin bin for doing that.......

Freddy didn't miss last night when he suggested that it seems you have to earn the right to do certain things in origin. Some players will be reffed differently than others.

3. MICHAEL JENNINGS: Spilled the ball to give Dane Gagai the chance to run 80m in the first half. Messed up his defensive read and allowed Gagai to score his second try. Committed the most unforgivable error of the 2016 series when he knocked-on and butchered a certain try for Tyson Frizell. You can expect him to borrow a play from the Justin Hodges playbook and go into hiding — much like he has in the centres for Parramatta this year. Rating 2/10.

I thought knocking on before Frizell grounded it was no biggie. It's not like he saw Frizell, then purposely knocked on... Ok, sure, it sux he knocked on, but he was off balance writhing on the floor desperately TRYING to get NSW back in the game, bad luck.

The pass to Gagai was useless
The rushing up to mark nobody was worse than useless

Spilling the bomb was just bad luck, had his arm hit otherwise he scores there.

His form has been adequate at best. Some stats are misleading at times.

yeah, his Avenger favour stat is way more important than any other measurable metric.

That's the real way to tell a good footballer from a bad one.

It's always tough to watch a good player have a bad game. Happens all the time and it's painful to watch. I felt bad for him, every time he tried to make something happen it crapped out on him.

Serves him right for taking chances..

Yep need to pick for the future:

Drop Gallen, G Bird, Jennings, Walker, Farah

Pick Cartwright , Tedesco, Dugan/Roberts , peats maybe?, wade graham

Reynolds will be injured so either J Bird or Moylan in the halves

Jennings is 28 .
The key to success it keeping the same team. When a team plays together they start to gel. Happens at NRL level and happens in origin. QLD are so good cause they have combinations down pact.Every player knows his role.

Tedesco + Dugan if fit are NSW best two players. Cartwright is a beast and the most creative forward in 30 yrs. And tribovij is a star in the making. Somehow these 4 must make the team.
Moylan into halves perhaps. Walker-Mansour for tribvoij and Dugan.

Over the 2 origins so far who has run for the most meters for NSW?

Jennings

I think many are being Harsh on Jennings. The pass he thru that gagai went length of field. Just unlucky-If he gets tackled with the ball everyone says why didn't you pass-He was given a hospital ball and was never anything on-Blame the halves for that one. The two knock on - Frizell does not score. If Jennings does not get involved QLD clean up the play.Jennings being there is what gave frizzell the chance- In desperation he reached out. Unlucky.
Same goes for the bomb. He came infield to try and contest it.

Ferguson dropped a stone cold bomb when NSW where back in the game.It lead to a try. Klemmer threw a stupid ball that was never on and dropped. That lead to a try.
at 18-12 the very next set NSW run it on the last and where tackled on the 35mtr line.Gave momentum straight back.

Not if the core of that team has lost 10 of the last 11 series. Madness to keep picking guys who can't get the job done. Out of the group that ran around last night the core that has been there for ages is Gallen, Farah, Bird and Jennings. Move them all on. By next game preferably
