Yep, Fulton should definitely call it quits this year too, once Daley gets sacked/resigns.
I don't think Laurie will give anyone the arse for game 3 - it will be farewell city allround.
the only one i'd pick of the old stagers is Gallen, he is captain and deserves his fair well in front of his home crowd. And this is the problem Gus was speaking about. Game 3 could either be about the future or the past. My bet is that it will be about a few players and not about moving forward. Will have to wait til game 1 next year to blood in the new breed, then we'll be 1 nil down and panicking again.
State of Origin for next year really starts in 3 weeks.
His best ever was after half time with the scores level " team that scores the most points this half will go on to win the game" :crazy:Daley will go back to Fox to sit beside his mate Warren Smith as lead analyst, where we'll get to hear such insightful comments as "I like a player who can catch and pass the ball" or "Unless [insert team trailing on scoreboard] start to mount a comeback they will go on to lose this game", among many many others....
So the only series we have won in 11 years was when they decided to play Hayne in his best position for the entire series?
Pretty much goes to show how shit our selectors are.
Bring in Tedesco, he is a gun! I like Moylan but out of the 2 I would have Tedesco ahead. Bird needs to be a centre for the next game.
Bring in Cartwright and Ryan James. Ferguson can go and replace him with some speed.
Reynolds will be out for game 3 so I assume we'll see the return of Pearce
Gallen can f**k off along with Farah!!
Was rumors back when coached Manly and was Australian coach that he offered player test jumpers if the signed or re-signed.I am sure when Bozo signs players for Manly, he says that this will guarantee you a SOO spot.
Walker, Buhrer, and the rest, and we get caught for cap issues
I think Walker will be fine in the long run.
But Bird, Gallen, Farah and Jennings need to go. They have been the core of our failure over the last couple of years. Gould was right when he said the leadership in NSW (the f**kers just listed) is suffocating the team.
Jack Bird and Frizzell were great. Bring in the likes of Tedesco and James and we'll be a much better team.
Still, though, we need a halfback. That's what we missed more than anything last night.
I thought Farah had a great game though and I don't see much point replacing him with Ennis.
All the rest of the decent hookers are from qld nz or England

Brings me to what has been wrong with Origin for a decade, and it's all Queensland's fault. Origin (and all rep jumpers) should be about form at the time of selection, not about incumbency. Yes incumbents & best players get some leniency for slight drop in form, but at the start of this year Cronk & Inglis were shit, and not just in terms of their ability, but just plain shit. Norman WAS playing better than Cronk, and Gagai should have been moved to centre and Feldt onto wing (although Gagai had a couple of shit games too)the problem is the leaders in NSW are all in the forwards, everytime they lose a series they sack the halves. Instead of sticking with the ones that preformed the best and making them leaders/senior players they always have new guys trying to keep their spot so they are always under pressure.
Hodgkinson did nothing wrong last year and should of been picked, infact he won us game 1 last year.
They need a clean out of the selectors, a whole new group of players who have played origin, like Blocker Roach, Wayne Pearce, Sterlo etc.
What a useless plonker.Daley has already said he wont be making too many changes for SOO3
