every club goes through this sh*t (except brisbane)

you've been up for a long time.
supporters need to experience such disappointments to appreciate the good.

at least you f*ckers won a title recently!

f**k off, this isnt a whinging im only here for the good times piece and stop supporting when its hard, i was experiencing the bullsh*t when i first started supporting the boys, ricky has lost the plot,i cant remember how many times we've fielded the same twice every week the last 2 years

U kidding ?? Ricky is a great coach. Would love to have him at Parra. Instead we were stuck with robot man. This year is gone but Im sure the roosters will be in the mix next year.
There is no way the troubles of the roosters are Rickys fault.

surely the eighties and early ninties had enough disapointments to last my natural lifetime. and at least during those sh*t years the team on paper for most of it wasnt anything to get overly excited about across the board. this is padded cell material because we should be playing better than we are with the playing roster we've got. i've seen under fives playing with more pride in their jersey than some of our current overpaid hacks. if they were horses, some of them would be lining up at the petfood factory as we speak.

and parralight, your more than welcome to ricky. how about a two for one deal with finch thrown in as the 'get one free' part of the deal.

gregstar, the way this f*ckers feeling at the moment, i reckon we'll see a st george premiership before another roosters one. hard to believe, i know ;-)

you had three dunger years in the 80's, won the minor premiership twice, made a grand final & should have made another.

you can't be too upset with the players atm because imo they are no longer up to it.

your halves consist of a lock trapped playing 5/8 (& isn't a playmaker) & the halfback no longer has what it takes (& hasn't since leaving the raiders), primarily because he totaly lacks vision.

morely's best years are well & truly spent because of the shocking wrist injuries he's sustained.

fitzgibbon has been totally miss-used by the club who have turned him into a tackling machine. when this guy was at saints he was a fantastic wide running back with good hands. wtf happened?

the club totally lacks ball playing forwards outside tupou.

i can't for the life of me see what you lot do in soward (unless you simply wish to remove finch at any cost!).

ryan cross whilst being a prima donna, should never have been let go.

i could go on & on.....

point is - the team quite simply doesn't have what it takes any more. no coach (except perhaps elliott) could do any better with them.

wtf happened? i think we're all asking this question across the park. our fowards aren't making metres. fitzgibbon is suffering the hangover of rickys style of making many of our fowards play 70 - 80 minutes each and every game for 3 years which was fine when the interchange rule wasn't around and everyone was playing on their last legs towards the end of the game but, as we've seen, thses days means we've ended up with a once very effective player looking like he's left the fossil farm you reckon kryptonik should book himself into.

we don't have props and the props we do have don't do what props are supposed to do. yep, Morleys busted but he's also ineffectual these days due to the judiciary hangover.

our halves just don't lack vision, they're legally blind. Soward may not have the goods but give the kid some time, we've got nothing to lose, except maybe the wooden spoon. Finch has had over three years and has never had what it takes.

i could continue but i can't be arsed. thanks for dropping by and cheering us up

well i believe i can cheer you up.

saints & roosters have an extremely good relationship at both the board & coaching level.

stuart, brown, daley, gould, doust, politis, palmer & macgregor each have genuine hard-ons for eachother.

i'll wager that within a year or so, you lot will have poore, sims, creagh for starters. i believe millard may be there as well. i don't for a moment belive the press linking this lot to other clubs.

the only thing i'm confident to wager with is the bye these days ;-)

i guess its a case that our expectations have been built up over the past 5 - 10 years and it's difficult to go back to the days of accepting more mediocre and underachieving performances than good ones.

being a tragic, i watched the anzac day match from 03 yesterday and despite the loss it was great to see the boys actually digging in and having a go...but back to the real world...

i'm sure any players we acquire can be be turned into ball dropping, small hearted hacks in next to no time.

christ i sound like a souths fan

adios

Don't feel bad you sound like a souths fan because the players are playing like Souths players:shock:

I'm looking to the future from here on in bring on 07.....

If it wasn't for Mini last year we could have ended up with the spoon or thereabouts last year.

Gregstar I don't want any of your players....what have they done??

no you werent, you were being a smart arse incinuating im riding the bandwagon for success, and weve hardly been on top for a long time, what, 2003 and 2004 were our best year, 2002 wasnt good by any means even tho we won, neither was 2000 when we made the final, that was choppy, so 2 good years is hardly at the top, why is it a 'succesful' club who starts going bad gets criticised by the fans, who really only matter in this argument not wot dragons fans think, all of a sudden the whole 'dick riding bandwagon supporter' argument comes out?

ricky stuart isnt a great coach, he was a good one, but anyone can see his fitting the team to suit finch, hes not letting combinations gel, hes expecting results straight away, anasta should be givin time in premier league to find confidence and a bit of form then anasta and soward should be givin basically all of next year to find a combination, im not part of this f**k off finch foundation, but sorry, he should be back up to soward and nowhere near the first grade, anasta is a ball runner, soward is the play maker with better play making skills than finch, if soward was to play consitantly with anasta theyd gel and problem one would go away, problem two, why can we not catch the ball? thats ricky stuarts job and its going from bad to worse, thirdly, it dont matter if we lose, aslong as you can see effort was made and passions is flowing, its not, something has to be done

no grestar we hadnt made the finals every year since 91 whered you pull that from?

you made the finals every year from '96 - '04. do you not call that successful? i would suggest that making the finals for 9 years straight would indicate that you were a successful club. making four grand finals out of those 9 years would indicate that your club was a power at the top of the comp. you wouldn't? how many other clubs made 4 grand finals in that time?

again dickweed - point out where i've indicated you're a bandwagoner. get the alfoil off your head.

again - as i said - your team is no longer up to it. read the other posts (& pay more attention) you have a proffessional enough organization to arrest this over the next couple of seasons.

wow, youve certainly got the intellegience of a dragons supporter

why are you in here when it has nothing to do with you? you a dragons supporter, why has a debate concerning the roosters fired you up so much? why do you care? again, has nothing to do with you, i tossed this up for roosters supporters to have a civilized debate

pull my bottom lip over my head, wow, im so insulted, the low point of my life, being insulted by an internet whore acting all tough behind a computer, maybe you should act more civil rather than trying to impress the cyber world and stop hijacking a thread not relating to you

why would i be paranoid, more to the point, be concerned with your opinion?

The Roosters are finding out that money don't necessary buy a good team. Each year they have brought players from other clubs with big dollars sending a clear message to their juniors and existing players ... sorry, but you're just not worth it ... no wonder there's been internal bickering lately.

Contast the Roosters approach to the Broncos who always buy sparingly and concentrate on their junior recruitment and development. This year only Ennis and Ben Hannant came into the squad. Ben is a former Broncos. The previous year it was only Justin Hodges coming in.

When you don't show loyalty to existing players you soon reap what you sow.
