I always wondered what happened to Kim Thyaill. Shredding axeman who disappeared off the face of the earth when thbey split first time. Looks like Matt Cameron will have to take some leave from Pearl Jam as well..... if he's still playing with them that is! So out of the loop with all the "grunge" bands and what they are up to these days...

Chris Cornell has an amazing voice, regardless of how disappointing his last album was. And Soundgarden are a great band, I would love the opportyunity to see them perform together

Not sure how it's going to work though since PJ are also touring at the moment.

Soundgarden getting back together, Faith No More, Alice in Chains.........I feel like a teenager again!!!

Awesome news. If they put out albums like Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, I will be the happiest man alive!!!!!

Not to mention Jane's Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Fear Factory...man, someone should arrange some sort of "Party like it's 1995" music festival.

Amazing... it was only yesterday i was listening to "fell on black days" and i thought, geez these guys were good, i regret having never seen them play.
Fingers crossed they come our way.
I saw Audioslave play in Syd about 5 or 6 years ago, was a great show, but seeing Soundgarden live would top it.

Had to throw in my 2 cents worth Soundgarden is my favourite band of all time, was (still am) over the moon about the news I am hoping they tour sooner rather than later as I was to young to see them in their prime. I recently bought their Telephantism compliation record which was very good (especially the DVD) and just orderd the super deluxe edition at Utopia for $150 bring it on! :D:D:D:D

For those with the I tunes festival app you can watch the entire performance of superunknown live.

It's also automatically on Apple TV if you update it.

It's pretty good and I'm not really much of a sound garden fan, tis a decent album though :)

Cheers for that... My mate and I were talking about this concert, and wondering if it was going to be released.
