I cooked up a French Onion soup for my family the other night. Took two hours to prepare and we all agreed it was a heap of shit

My pea and ham soup can be eaten with a fork. I love soup.

It's easy and cheap, bro - you can use practically anything to make a good soup. You should try it.

haha I'll give it a try sometime but I've never cooked one and don't know how to and if I eat out I go with a steak or something.

That's pretty much what my thoughts on it are but I can't knock it till I try it I guess

Depends on the soup and the salad. A good Greek salad trumps chicken noodle, but a hearty clam chowder with Old Bay sharts on a garden salad from on high.

A carrot
Half a leek
2 onions
half kilo of beef
A turnip
Bunch of salt and pepper

Chop that shit up, boil it for an hour. Chuck some instant gravy in at the end. Doneskies

I never do. You could though.

You could also chuck it on med and cook it for a couple hours, until the meat disintegrates. Delicious.

There are so many to pick from. There is tomato soup, chicken soup, vegetable, potato as well as barley and mushrooms. There are probably more than I can't remember at the moment.
