The South Sydney Leagues Club is having an open day on Saturday 31 January and need your help. The Leagues Club is planning to install a series of historical displays in its new premises. These displays will incorporate an amalgamation of historical information about the Leagues Club, Football Club and a snapshot of the Redfern community as well as junior league in South Sydney.
The Leagues Club is after any photographs or items of historical interest and urges Members to bring them along to:
Where: Long Room, Redfern Oval
When: 10am - 4pm, Saturday 31 January
The Leagues Club are also keen to document the stories behind your items. A camera crew will be present to record your story should you wish to participate.
Maybe you had a birthday at the Leagues Club when you were young or just a night out; maybe a photo of Redfern or a past game; maybe you collect coasters or past annual reports; there are so many items we are looking for.
The following is a sample list of items:

If in doubt about the historical value of what you have, then come along with your items or give us a call on 02 9319 4156 or email history@southsleagues.com.
What you might think to be of little significance may turn out to be central in the telling of our story. Register your interest today – call or email to tell us you have some wonderful item to view.
We would also very interested to hear from anyone (or their relatives) who were among the first 200 Members to join the Leagues Club – the number required to obtain registration which the Club succeeded in doing in 1959.
And please spread the word amongst our older members, supporters and the general community who are not online or may not be financial at this time.
