Fittler, Johns, Barrett, Tallis, Webcke etc were always better the Paul. He was never in the top 3 players in the world.

nqboy said:OT, but one my biggest regrets in RL is not seeing more of Henry Paul, in the NRL and at international level. He always looked a fabulous player, at fullback, centre, 5/8, lock and hooker. One of those who could have been anything but took the soft option of easy money in the ESL and then yawnyawn.

He didn't look comfortable at half either. He will have a big battle on his hands for the fullback spot next season, with Polglase probably getting first crack, and Merritt also in the mix. While I reckon he will be our long-term fullback, he will probably play most of 2006 from the bench as a utility back.dragondad said:Im good friends with Champion and i can tell you the couple of times he played halfback in place of Moran he wasn't very happy.
His goal is to be Souths fullback in the near future.
