What was the name of the Souths player who had the distinction of being the biggest fullback in Rugby League.

Biggest height wise or hype wise?

I'd go Kevin Longbottom as well if it's height wise.

Hype - Shane Wilson?

I'm on the fugging ceiling about this fullback thing.

For heaven's sake, teachers keep leaving class.

I know its almost the end of the school year but jeez, cant they log back in to see if we still at our seats?

For those of us having a ciggie behind the toilet block:-

In 2005 or 2006 the club decided rename our mascot from "Reggie" to ........................?

Of course, the new name sucked and nobody used it except Richo. It has since been scrapped.

What was our beloved mascot's temporary new name?

For an extra point, did he still respond to the name "Reggie" at games during this weird period?

Alas, sorry to dissapoint, it wasnt Peter the rabbit, it was charlie as Rocky submitted. I do prefer Peter to Charlie.

And yes C&M, he still responded to calls of "Reggie" at every game we met.

And Im not too embarrased or shy to shake his paw and say G'day if I can. Thats part of the game day experience for me especially away.

Reggie the Rabbit is by far the best team mascot of them all.

At the start of a game, one hears the roar of the crowd and the very first impression that one has of souths is to see little Reggie, paws often held high, ears flapping..he jogs out onto the field in colourful splendor.

Behind him are the team, led by the captain, pysched up and ready for battle.

Its a strange yet addictive juxtaposition.

(cough)

If the teacher isnt back, I'll throw this one at you:-

Neil Baker was a famous player for Souths.

What position did he play?

What other role did he have?

Which club did he leave us for?

He left Souths to join Penrith,he played either full back or 5/8

A pass mark for the Penrith comment and positions, but he was renowned for something.

What was it?

He was renowned for his long kicking game.

And your right Dave Q...it was Charlie the rabbit...it was blasphemy either way.

Indeed.

Steve Fenech and Michael Blake, I don't recall what Fenech played but Blake was an average centre
