In a competition where Orford was a premiership winning halfback, anything is possible.

I mean f**k, the Sharks looked like professional team for a few rounds this season.

Orford actually had a great 2008 where IMO he was easily the best halfback in the game.
Cant really say that about either Soward/Hornby.

Yeah it is odd, but Sherwin and Anasta weren't brilliant either.

Sharks should do us a solid and give us Townsend.

Hopefully he'll relearn all the basics like NOT kicking the ball straight at the winger/fullback and shaking your opponents hands like a good sport.

Soward is nowhere near the player people claim he is
Firstly let me ask what do 'people claim'? I don't think you'll find a Dragons supporter that will say he is or was the best in the game. Nor do we feel he was good enough to play for Australia. A worthy SOO 5/8 but that's about it.
We just love what he has done for the club. We love the passion he has for the game and the Dragons. We love the poncy little dance he does before kicks.

and he is an obvious shithead.
Ah, so you've met him? I bet not.

I have and so have some of my family members. He's a champion on and off the field.

I met up with quite a few Roosters supporters on the train to and from the 2010 grand final. They were all nice people and were gracious in defeat. You mustn't have been one of them.

Nah he's not a shithead. His fiance's mother is good friends with my mum. I've made small talk with him on a few occasions over the years at funerals, birthdays, etc. Definitely not a shit head lol.

BUT, it's always good to read people's opinions of him who have never met him, always makes me smirk.

Lol, did I whinge about the 2010 grand final? We over achieved in 2010. Try to understand this concept, I know Dragons' fans are much more familiar with the concept of underachievement, but hey seven-year-olds are expected to understand what opposites, so it shouldn't be too much to ask from the average adult Dragons' fan.

My dislike of Soward has nothing to do with the 2010 grand final, it has to do with the way he carries himself. For everybody who says he was nice when they met him, there are half a dozen people who say he acted like a tool, as I haven't met him I am going to go by what I have seen of him in interviews and how he acts on the field and I have seen him act like a shithead.

As for the Dragons' fans opinions of him, I have accidentally opened a Soward thread in your section. It made me throw up in my mouth a little.

I didn't say you whinged about the 2010 gf. It was just a point I was making about Roosters fans I have met.

Soward carries himself very well in interviews. He's good fun when on the Footy Show or Fox. Quite witty and well spoken. And humble too. He does a lot for charities as many other players do. As far as off field scandals go he's a clean skin. From what i know of his background that is likely to continue.

There are about 200 NRL players I'd call a shithead. He ain't one of them.

Cliffhanger, Adamkungl and I swapped seats for the 2010 gf. I had tickets in the Roosters section and he had tix in the Dragons section. He seems a lovely chap. Why are you such a tosspot?

Oh I'm a tosspot. So you've met me before? I've met me before and think I'm pretty smart and rational.

He seems anything but witty and well spoken. The way he carries himself in interviews seems like an arrogant, self-entitled sook, even the way he carries himself on the field, he seems to have improved his attitude recently.
