We have had more injuries than Manly.
Widdop, Sims Graham ,Norman for long periods in the season friz for a short while..and of course the off season debacle.
Mary couldn't get the cutters to the semis.
They say he is well liked.
Nice guys finish last.
Ask Jamie about that kick he missed in the game against the dogs ,it was a semi I think.
Manly have had: Tom Turbo, DCE, Fonua-Blake, Taufua, Koroisau... plus their own off season debacle with Dylan Walker.

Jamie is no dill, he figured out real quick how bad Price was, hope this gets traction. Regardless of JDB and injuries the season has been a disaster that’s a fact and to have resigned the coach when they did with no performance hurdles just plain stupid. I’ll say it again as Gould said of Hook we will never win a premiership with him. Well nothing could be closer to the truth at St George. Well said Jamie , you will always be a Dragons legend in my eyes.:clap::clap::clap:

Mate...Jamie was a member of our 2010 Grand final winning team....Flashback...field goal against tigers

Anyone in that 2010 Side is a legend....30 odd years to finally win the big one....I think he knows more than any of us punters here and hopefully this gets some traction on the mainstream media.

P.S Cronulla have a Rookie coach in his 1st year with up to 8 guys out and their side still has shape and knows how to win....
Jamie very first game for Dragon's winning field goal vBroncos at kogarah nicely done champion.... the fastest man over 10 metres according to GUS GOULD......

If McIdiot was sacked it would show to me that the Board made their decision to improve our teams prospects going forward.
The danger then is who would the club pick to be our new coach, would it be an outsider or another clubman like Hornsby or Young.
Based on our boards decisions in the past option two would not be unexpected.
We are at a turning point in our history, there are only two choices, success or failure.
It is dark times.

Not that simple
Our board sees it as
Hammer > Thumb > Nail > Head
The thumb is akin to a silencer on a gun to muffle the noise whilst murder is committed and meanwhile the nail & head remain untouched.
But
"Paul's retention has come down to more than just the football played on the field," Johnston said. "Paul is a values-driven, team-first individual who is at the forefront of personal development for both he and his players.

"A testament of this is the number of Dragons who have achieved higher representative honours and those to have successfully debuted under Paul's tutelage, as well as the club's improved results in recent seasons.

"Paul's emotional intelligence and man management attributes are key to him being well-respected throughout the playing group and the club's staff in its entirety, which is another crucial reason for his extension."

A new "non clubman" coach would want to bring his own team and start fresh which would likely mean the long list of old boy hangers on would have to go. Can't see the Gordon's allowing the old boy Illawarra contingent to be moved on and the rest of the board wouldn't want new blood sniffing around the place and uncovering hidden skeletons. If Mary was given the shaft tomorrow, you could bet Tyson's scarred testicle that Mr Trent Barrett would proudly become our next coach.

Yes we need to sack Mary now and let our new head coach have his say on who we let go and who we keep/recruit.

100% agree Possm

Sacking McGregor now would give the new coach ample time to assess the current roster in action, make changes where necessary and begin to attract quality players for next season.

Sowies comment on appointing "clubmen" echoes so loud that i hope other media pick it up and run with it.

McGregor is a fake and we will not win any premiership under his coaching.
