Every St-Ill. fan wants Soward to fire. Shit, there's nothing better than watching him inflict pain on the opposition. But he's barely done it this year, and that's a fact. And if he doesn't start doing it soon, and maintain it for the rest of the season, the team will really struggle. But if he does, he'll do what Carney did in 2010 and take us all the way. Here's hoping that's what happens.

First up, please chill out. I don't know much about the terminology in 'troll circles', but the fact you're so well versed is a cause for concern. Who the hell did you have to sleep with to achieve the position of 'guest moderator' anyway?

Second, it's dishonest to take things out of their context. At the start of my post I quite clearly stated that it was great we beat Easts in 2010. It was also quite clear that my point was that a 'great' (as impartially recognised by the Dally M awards) 5/8 can take an otherwise OK team all the way to the GF. It wasn't enough for them to actually WIN the GF (they were up against the Dragons, after all!), but Carney was the difference in that team, as evidenced by the Roosters' 2011 form.

(And to that other poster's comment about Cqrney's 'pattern', thank you for pointing that out. When it came to his on-field achievements, wherever he went, he was the best thing since sliced bread. A proven great PLAYER. Not a great club representative OFF the field, but a great PLAYER nonetheless.)
