In a two horse race, Nick Cave has it all over Tex Perkins.

No saying that Tex is rubbish. For a wanker he has done some good stuff. Three Legged Dog (Cruel Sea) as a great album. Also enjoyed his collaborations; Tex Don & Charlie and T.N.T.

That's his band. Like when he had the Dark Horses. Also he did the Johnny Cash gig at the Opera House and they were the Tennessee Four.

But he sold his soul when his did that reality program Battle of the Choirs. THAT can't be forgiven.

There is no doubting the achievements of Nick Cave, but despite this being an obvious flame on my part to begin with, I do prefer the sound of Perkins, although I am basing this on Cruel Sea vs Bad Seeds

I was just in Coles with the missus and we were choosing a garlic bread to have with the vegetarian lasagna she was making. I find garlic bread usually helps me get through it, because vegetarian lasagna tastes as bad as it sounds.

Anyway she suggested the Coles brand and said she liked that one best for the price, to which I replied,

agreed. i'm regularly turned off by the boys club antics that routinely goes on here.

would post alot more if every thread didn't go completely off topic or turn into a bitchfest

i think the mods hold ALOT of responsibility for that imo

Come on, putting some spice into this forum has done it a lot of good.

Humour/satire comes in many forms, is important, and this forum now accommodates plenty of differing styles/personalities.

This is a very good thing.

If you want a thread to be serious, not to be hijacked, the creator of the thread should say so.

Lets use a symbol to signify "Hijack Free Thread".

This leaves all other threads free for banter.

As for dumping "nasty" vitriol and attacking peoples characters, etc, this should be banned.
