Yup...whos going? I've been waiting for this for ages. The reviews so far have been 4 to 5 stars (avent read them all, trying to avoid spoilers, even though I know on surface what happens) , but remember The Phantom Menace also got great early reviews then became a shocker! But, indeed I think this one will be different, Attack of the Clones was far better than The Phantom Menace even though it was a tad slow. Revenge of the Sith looks like it will great, its all the stuff everyone has been waiting for, Anakin turns into the baddest man in the galaxy!

I'm going to a 10pm sesh on Friday and don't have to work the next day! There was a Star Wars story on Sunrise this morning and they had a whole bunch of footage I'd never seen before including Palpatine with his lightsabre doing corkscrew jumps in the air....it was such a tease! I can't wait 4 days! I wanna go NOW!

Saturday night for me...

Hopefully, haven't pre-booked.. :/
I'd book ASAP if I were you, many sessions are already sold out, and Saturday night will probably be the busiest time for the movie (aside from Wednesday midnight).

I'm booked in at 2:30 on Saturday arvo, I pre-booked about 2 weeks ago.

Get in early to spend 4 hours in a seat next to a fat, sweaty 42 year old guy who lives in his parents basement and dresses up like a Jedi! ;)
 haha, I wondered if there will be dudes fully dressed up in Storm trooper outfits etc...Hope I'm not next to that guy you described! haha

If I wasn't going with my gf I'd expect that...

But f**k, thank god she's a SW fan.

Just got back from a midnight screening. Must say, in comparison to the first two rather dull films, it's a real improvement. A plot you actually care about, better acting from most (a few sore points there, though), and it's all wrapped up nicely.

Worth a look, whether you loved the original two, or hated them.

Shouldn't this be in the Music and Movies section of the forum?

As someone who doesn't consider themselves a fan of the series, I actually enjoyed Revenge of the Sith. Infinitely better than The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. It has George Lucas' usual flare for over-used special effects and poor dialogue, but it's an enjoyable film. Worth a look, if you are at all interested in the series. If you didn't enjoy any of them, then it won't be for you. Ties in nicely with the 'original' trilogy quite well.
