Didn't watch much Footy in 1970's and 1980's Iafeta?

I've seen worse by:

Mark Bugden, Steve Mortimer, Les Boyd, Gary Jack, and Terry Lamb. The kind of cheap shots that ended the career of Mark Wakefield.

Wasn't alive in the 70s, only a spring chicken in the 80s

Either way, that sort of stuff isn't required in footy, I'm glad for the past 10-15 years I've watched we haven't seen that sort of rubbish.

Pull your dicks in dickheads, ive seen cheaper shots then that on Billy Slater nearly every week. Nobody seemed to notice too much when Billy had his nose elbowed in a few weeks back by those dirty filthy Tigers players.
The fact that the rookie shithouse ref couldnt contain problems and favoured the Tigers extremely has to be taken into account at the judicary.
Proper action by the ref could have avoided this!
Ill be disapointed if the Judicary give Danny more then 6 wks.

Hmmmmm....yeah the same match where Mark O'Neill had his nose smashed thanks to one D.Williams.

Dispicable, disgraceful, cowardly. I'm sure there's other words to describe it.

He's going on a very long holiday, maybe never to return.

True, the tackle was nasty, and if that tackle is judged in isolation, then O'Neill should get 2 or 3 weeks I reckon.

But, that's up there with Maddison taking out ??? (Roosters Half? who the hell was it, I can't remember now...Some punter they bought in probably), and it certainly rates with Greg Bird's effort as the worst cheap shot of the year, probably a bit worse than Bird.

that half was thingy me jig from penrith .I remeber that hit as well elbow i think to the jaw

Maddison's elbow did no damage though and the player he hit was unaffected. He got 15 weeks for it.

I can't see Williams getting a suspension as light as 15 weeks.

I would be surprised if he would be eligible to be playing this time next season.

I haven't seen the incident yet. Hopefully they will show it on the footy show this morning.

It will probably be replayed untill the tape is worn out

...and rightfully so, the so called "man" is a disgrace to anything he is associated with after what he did

And you don't think this will be on the high light reel for the next TV promo of this clash.

The NRL loves this shit.

You fool....why would they in any way want to be associated with that cheap, gutless coward from Melbourne.....the NRL will be glad when this fuss dies down.

The officials also missed a high tackle on Ryles from Morley on Friday night,

You didn't see Ryles behaving like that Monkey Williams.

After the match, a contrite Williams said he had no recollection of the incident.

"He (O'Neill) hit me and I don't really remember anything after that," Williams said.

"The boys tell me that I hit him and I am sorry for that but I was dazed and didn't know what I was doing."

WHAT A FARGWIT!!
You can't use that as an excuse.

I'm afraid that will be as successful as trying to swim to LA in concrete boots.
