You never had to sit on the sideline of Endeavour Oval or for that matter back in the Sutho Oval days and expect to see Terry Hughes, Bomber, Sambo, Mont, or Big Al McRitchie running around with some bloody chows name plaster over the back of their jerseys.

I'm assuming you mean Gyngell here, not Gallop?
At this point in time it is Channel 9 who dictates who gets the FTA games, not the NRL.

Yes, and the good news is Rabbs Warren was heard on the wireless this morning saying he had very good mail that Nein was looking good to get the games on the new deal.

In any case whoever does get the rights I hope the Commission makes them run to a schedule that the NRL set, not the channel themselves.

You know as well as I do, the NRL do not care about fairness in the slightest.

If they were after that, we'd be allowed to have Blades on the front until the main sponsor is signed...

Or beyond that, we'd be allowed to have a charity placed on the front until the main sponsor is signed....

The NRL want to see the Sharks fall, I am completely sure of it. They are banking on it so they don't have to choose Perth and Brisbane II over Central Coast in the next expansion. They would give anything to have the Sharks fold so they can have those three teams come in.
