Of course we will deserve it if we get it.

I still reckon the roosters have had the worst season in terms of the talent in their squad, and the awfulness of some of their performances.

At least the panthers can point to new structures and huge disruptions with key players leaving and culture change.

There is no doubt their management is looking to get less top heavy in terms of player payments and build a deeper squad. In the last twelve months Lewis, petero, Gordon have all left or are leaving. There's no doubt that causes some short term pain.

I don't really care if we get the spoon or not. Maybe it's the kick up the backside the club needs to get their act together. From the boardroom down to the playing group. Last year we narrowly avoided the spoon by a win in the last round and it was a sense of relief and we heard about encouraging signs but look how this season turned out.

We need Roosters to lose both and us to win both. Roosters are a big chance to lose both... making our result against Souths very important.

Yes, technically. But credit to them - they've lifted their form when it mattered and they've won themselves away from spoon danger.... unlike the circuses that our club and the Roosters have been this season.
