I always thought that MLB got pretty crap crowds,

But on looking into it its actually massive, Phillies got 3.6 M fans through in 2011 to 81 home games.

Hard to believe, every time MLB is on EPSN the stadium is usually less then half full.

They have 162 games in the regular season....

Most parks around in the 30-55k mark (so similar to suncorp) and the Broncos don't play 162 yet people laud us for our crowds in about a half full 54k stadium 12 times a year..

MLB is the most attended comp in the world because it has the most amount of games, the average is lower than the NFL.
