Shamus was a weak Cox Plate but Savabeel's Cox Plate was so delicious good sir

Fields of Omagh = 2 time Cox Plate winner
Grand Armee = Champion
Elvstroem and Starcraft = Both went onto become International Group 1 winners
Elegant Fashion = Hong Kong Derby winner
Paolini = Multiple Group 1 winner overseas

Underrated Cox Plate that one
He should of won the Orr first up next prep and then he got his shots for HK and was never the same horse and war sent straight to stud. Who knows what he would of won if he had of kept racing?

I was sitting in the pub one arvo around this time of year and an old boy (since passed on) I would say g’day to but not much else had a felt box in front of him.

I asked him “What’s in the box John?”

He cracked it open and it was Fields of Omagh’s Cox Plate.

Understandably I was blown away.

He had had a share in the syndicate and at this time of year he would get the plate and show it to people.

When he passed away they had Fields of Omagh at his funeral.

Pretty cool I thought.

Race was over for Biv after the first 50m.

Hilflager is a colt by the GOAT of blanks.

If he wasn't still covered in haynetrains jizz in the mounting yard he'd be worth squillions.
