Got Trekking @ 21’s before the barrier draw, give it strength.

Also had a big go on Buckhurst in the CC.

Trekking has hurt me before and he will hurt me again some stage.

I always like the horse but there is always something else, or some reason. Barrier, price, whatever, I usually take something else, and he always bobs up and I always say never again and then it do it again the very next opportunity.

Good times

Call me crazy but I'm doubling up on Mirage Dancer in the CC.

It's last win was dominant against a horse that was flying and is going to the Cox Plate next.

Went close in the race last year, drawn a decent gate... @ 20-1 that will do this old sailor.

Not the worst shout actually have a few ahead but surely in the exotics still worst. The only small query is the top end of the market if they run at their best are more versatile but at $20-1 at say a 2 by 4 play you could do worse

You answered your question I don’t like the draw but there’s something about that horse that tells me it will run a race as it knows how to win

Rawiller always provides his worst when I’m on him, backed him on Classique in last years version...but granted it copped bad luck in the straight.

Personally Gytrash is where my money is. I don't lose if Liertini wins as I have it at a massive price early markets before it's last win, horse screams an Everest winner. Trekking purely the fact that it flies second up the blowout. I give Behremoth a huge change in that group too. it isn't a vintage edition but it is fun.

you’ve mentioned my 3 picks right there, but only doing Gytrash in multis as a back up. Playing on all those others though, can’t have everything.

Backed it last year, ran well enough...not against chucking a bit on it again.
Better chance than some around half the price.

Cummings likely to trifecta The Everest, Buck and Master of Wine in the CC, VE if the rains tumbles though. AVD will need a hell of a lot of luck from that draw, if it wins it will be a brilliant ride.

Like last year when everyone backed horses apart from Mer De Glace, keep backing the others please just means a better price for AVD. Form in from of Stratavarius is better than anything Very Eelegant has beaten. In fact I recon VE is doing well to place.

Best blowout probably Toffee Tongue who was massive last start. Buckhurst is going in everything though for me.

As for the Everest, I recon everyone could back 3 and we could still miss it. For the record I have it as

1. Gytrash
2. Libertini
3. Behemoth
4. Classique Legend

Best roughie: Trekking
