So I'm assuming that Tabcorp's IT Head of Business Resilience and Disaster Recovery will be handing back his/her building access pass and laptop on Monday morning and hitting the Seek website for new opportunities!!

It’ll be interesting to see the repercussions of this. They have been lagging for a long time TAB. Living off “in-venue” and we know how that went. And then this “event” happens.

In the age of conspiracy, you would have to wonder if this really was an accident?

Happens to occur on a big turnover day, but not the biggest turnover day.

It’s pretty f**ken suss if you ask me. Industrial espionage perhaps.

It does seem suss. Like, surely, they've got backups/redundancy in place. An organisation that transacts tens of millions of dollars a day aren't just relying on someone to replace a few power supplies or chuck in a Windows Server DVD to reinstall their operating system and apps when a few servers get fried from a power surge!!
