spurs sack ramos

Tottenham Hotspur have sacked manager Juande Ramos and sporting director Damien Comolli.

First team coaches Gus Poyet and Marcos Alvarez are also believed to have left the club with immediate effect.
Spurs, who made the announcement on their official website, are bottom of the Premier League with just two points from eight matches.
The team has made their worst ever start to a league season under Spaniard Ramos, who took over from Martin Jol one year ago.
Clive Allen, the Development Squad Coach, and Alex Inglethorpe, the Youth Team manager, will take charge for the visit of Bolton on Sunday.

Harry Rednapp must be the most disloyal manager in the history of sport.

How much further could he take Pompey? He said in the interview that they were going to have to sell players in January, they have a tiny stadium and are struggling to get a new one. Realistically they've gone as far as he was going to be able to take them at 61 years of age.

Has nothing to do with loyalty, it's just a smart move. Spurs may be struggling but they are still a big club with plenty of money and a very talented roster.

Smallest stadium in the premier league.

Not the greatest resources.

From relegation to FA Cuo winners.

Could well be time to move on.

Harry has never had a 'big' club, has he?

Not unless you consider West Ham a big club (their fans certainly do).

Can't blame him for taking the challenge, and while Levy remains at the club it will continue to be a challenge IMO.

It will cost spurs a fortune to pay Ramos and the others out,Pay compo to portsmouth and pay the new coaching staff.

it would cost more if he did nothing

the club is for sale and has been for years, Levy wont get sh*t for a club in the championship league so it was a desperate move to save Spurs from relegation and Levy would have lost a fortune

a small investment to protect his money

he is currently negotiating with a middle east consortium and has been for a month or so,
