Not sure how it works, I would think though, if they are not contracted they are open for anyone.
But in saying that, I’m sure a contract from us would be at the ground waiting.
I just hope he’s not a wild child..why Penrith let him go?

If he scores a shit load of tries that gets us in the final 8, then all is forgiven:D

Seriously, I don't know what he has done in the past, but we seem to have a bit of indigenous leadership in the club now, which hopefully keeps on the straight and narrow.

Just on the “wild side” of things, do we think he would be anymore problem then say JAC? I appreciate that JAC hasn’t caused a lot of issues (that we know of) but he does appear to be rebellious like LM imo.

If he is as quick as they are saying, and they are saying he is super quick, then yes, I’m very excited. You can’t beat raw speed.

correct, but what’s his defence like? Does he rush up through indecision of his inside men? What’s his work rate like in the red zone?

Anyone can have a highlights package if you just pick out the good bits, hopefully he kills it tomorrow anyway

I’m thinking more alcohol/cops related ..He just seems too good to be true...He’s the only one keeping The Jet honest for speed at training. He’s definitely worth nailing down (if tomorrow gos ok).No one else comes close by the looks. Esp not Talau who by comparison is sluggish

Brooksy has never been stronger.

Might get these framed for the desk at the office!

It’s been a long, gruelling and horrific pre season but they are all looking svelte and comfortable. A touch of ambition in them as well.

The tiger heart beats strong and true this year.

The pundits say no spine, getting worse, bad coach, bought no one, team of crims, boo hoo....

Stfu and Bring it on!

Correction, they rate every one of their juniors while still in the panthers system. Moylan went from being a better fullback than teddy and future Aussie 5/8 to being shit the instant he left for the sharks
There is an element of truth though! He turned to shit on leaving Penrith.

Fitzgibbon was in our reserve grade side in 2019 I don’t remember him before that tbh. He was very small and very quick but he was kind of in and out of the reserve grade side at that stage of his career. He looked like he had some potential cause of that speed but he wasnt someone who looked like a definite nrl prospect back then. I’m not sure where he went last year. There weren’t any indiscretions from him that were made public.

He looks a lot bigger than he was. When I saw a picture of him training with you I wasn’t sure if it was actually him due to how big he is.

Well hopefully we have grabbed a good one, we certainly need some pace in the backs.

He was super quick back then I will definitely be keen to see how he goes. I am pretty sure we called him up to our nsw cup team from st Mary’s Ron massey cup in 2019. Like I don’t think he came through the juniors at Penrith or any nrl club which is why he is so unknown.

yeah pretty sure he was plucked straight from the sprinting ranks, he’s only been playing league for a few years not 10+ like most NRL players so he’s a bit behind in that regard

Yep I think he is a late starter or maybe a late bloomer because he is fast enough that you’d think he would’ve got picked up in someone’s junior rep teams.

As was Damien Cook if memory serves!!

He looks future spine material to me.

Good interview with Madge on the official site today. Seems to me he’s very upbeat about the pre season progress.

While in an interview with Fox, Brooksy discusses the emotion of Benjis departure and credits AD as being too competent to keep benji. Thinks however it will help his own game.

Stefano at 115kgs, we recall he was shocked and awed by the intensity of the pre season.
Cows looking to use the mighty Tammas off the bench, but we expect our big guys to play the full 80. Interesting contrast.

And who isn’t a fan of the legend Ronnie Palmer? Best support in the game. He’s snipped a bit too much off the mullet!
