Penrith have Peachey, Alamoti,D.Lauire,J.Cole a highly rate 20yld and a real star in the making in McLean.
All have NRL experience and bar Peachey young.
We have Cini,Dunster,Harper,LumeLume.
I'd love to throw Talagi in but I see him more as a 2025 option.

Fair point. The difference is we have better fullback options than AMS. Maybe after a full preseason he might’ve overtaken Russell and Asi, but as it stands, they’ve both played fullback in first grade and he hasn’t.

The fact that the illustrious HOF has not been smart enough to improve the backline, or indeed recruit into it, is a failure. Hopefully, someone is working the phones furiously , as thd top 30 remains unbalanced and weak in an important area.

Russell can be the temp backup to Gutho if there is an injury.

I wouldn't develop Sanders any further. Rather we favour Asi and Lynn. Unless we think he may return in 3yrs.

Asi is our backup for now.

If developing Sanders also develops the other kids that have been coming through with him I see no issues with Sanders being developed.

I'm hoping Ethyn Parry suprises. But he doesn't seem to be on any sort of development or top 30 contract so doesn't seem to be in the plans for 2024.
I am tipping Matalele to have big off season and be a real suprise packet for 2024. The destructive 2nd rower we need.
