MO appear to be subjective.

The Club in it's right mind surely wouldn't even offer Dunster a ball boy gig if it was solely up to them if he stays or goes.

Interesting. So why did you and NRL have him down as MO ?

Also if the article was Fri 17 Dec 2021, 03:01 PM, and he extended for 3 years, what was contract his status at the time of print ? Cos if he was off contract, then 3 years was for 22, 23 and 24 (and maybe a MO for 25 ?)

Yes, maybe if he was already under contract for 22, then an extension for 3 years would be for 23,24, 25. But that doesn't explain the MO.

Yes, maybe if he was already under contract for 22, then an extension for 3 years would be for 23,24, 25. But that doesn't explain the MO.

I don't think they always include options in the press releases. I reckon they aren't always included in the signings tracker on nrl.com either.

Not until March/June (although obviously waiting that long means they don’t have preseason).
Any signing between now and then is either going to be an opportunistic pick up of a decent player being cut (less likely) or cheap pick ups of depth we need (Hawkins supposedly done deal - we need a back up half). Barring those we’ll probably push any other signing back to pressure that player into a cheaper deal.

You'd also think we'll try and make a few purchases for 2026 after 1 November, and keep room for them in case they can be accommodated in 2025 also.

If I'm not mistaken Hawkins is a right foot/side player?

Losing Moses was one thing, but having to shift Brown to the right to accommodate the left foot/sided Asi and Sanders in the team just exacerbated the situation.
