The dragons had everything in their favour last week:
they got all the early calls from the ref;
they had the crowd behind them early;
we had our most influential player (Hindmarsh) out;
our two replacements were not up to the intensity of first grade at this time of the year, and made some aweful mistakes.

This week, however, Parramatta has a lot more going for them:
Hindmarsh is back (and rested);
We have our full-strength side;
We have a Sunday afternoon game - which suits our style of attacking play much better;
It is Parramatta who now has the motivation to make amends for a horrible defeat.

This could really be a battle royal. If Parramatta goes back to their off-loading style (I think Hindmarsh has been under-estimated in this area, and plays a significant role in our attack), then I think we can win. The best thing would be if we score early to shut the crowd up a bit. Win, lose, or draw, I'm VERY proud of how the players and the coach have performed this year. GO PARRA!!

If the Eels throw it around they'll do us.

30 degrees, chasing second phases out wide scares me.

thats gonna happen, its a given. IE throwing it out wide

The footy show showed massive space out wide in the dragons backline, but the eels just hammered it up front and got smashed, very different to what they have been playing like the previous 7 weeks. Losing Inu early didnt help us either, let alone Grothe/hindy for the whole game

I think Bennet will know whats coming, be interesting to see how his side goes THIS time around.

Two months ago everyone would have thought we'd be outside gardening on the 13th of September, not watching the Eels play.

We can't be disappointed no matter what the result today. This is an appetiser to next season. Everything from here is a bonus!

Go Eels!!!
