I'm starting to think we could win this, if Packer, Vaughan, Friz are all actually fit enough to play well. 9 day turn around has to help our busted forwards.
If Aitken is truly fit I think he will add plently in attack on the right especially if Nene has awoken from his slumber but their defence is still a big worry.
I want to see McInnes run the ball more with some support runners.
I'd love to see Mann come on (for McCrone) with some decent time when they're tiring.
Thomo needs to do a Papalii on DCE.
Maybe we can win this?

There are no real excuses this week. We are at full strength, they have a couple of injuries, home game. Its there to win.

Speaking of reverse psychology, I'm so glad to hear a range of journo's coming out this week and tipping us to miss the 8.

I'm happy to hear this because after watching last weeks post match presser, I reckon Mary thinks we just need to win a couple more games and we are in the 8, no worries, no need to panic, we got this, too easy, was the impression I got.

I'm hoping this opinion from the pundits that Penrith will get to 8th and we miss out is the rocket both Mary and the team needs to lift their intensity.

I hope you are both correct but with an inept half that does't run to the line & can not give us a return set of six, a back line that is out paced by our own forwards, we are all just wishful thinkers when it comes to playing true contenders with speed & organisation. Either that or I have no idea.

I really hope so aswell.
Manly are more beatable than thier 3rd place position suggests.
My tip is we will be severely exposed out wide and before we know it, down 20 nil.

Well surely they won't have Dufty and Mann on the bench.

Given the cutters line up, if both Nighty and Aitken play I'd say either Mann or Dufty miss out. We have 18, which simply doesn't fit into 17.

The forwards would have to be Packer, Vaughan with LAM back to the bench Along with Sims and Host.

Problem is if Nighty andAitken are both fit, Dufty misses a game overall for the weekend and if he was selected today for Illawarra then he would've been ineligible tomorrow and then if Nighty/Aitken weren't right we would've been in a bit of trouble
