Stacy Jones out?

They need to get rid of Jones and stick Locke at number 7. Jones is well past his day and needs to go. Maybe take one of the big boys from the U20 and put them as wing?

What are your thoughts?
I think we also need some more impact within the forwards. We rely too much on Price. Packer has potential, but he doesn't offload enough, same with the rest of our forwards.

Well the Warriors need to do something! drop some under performers.
Manu, Locke and brown were the Warriors best. I dont blame Stacey but something needs to be done, and if dropping him is the answer then so be it. I think Mannering, Luck or Lillyman should be dropped.

Locke played 1 game at 6 and 1 at 7 iirc, it was Iro showing the powers that be his versatility and that he could adapt.
He is an awesome fullback.

I'd like to see quite a few dropped actually, Mannering, Luck, Lillyman head the list and McKinnon isnt far behind them. Moon is an experiment gone wrong.

In my opinion, McKinnon is one of the best fullbacks in the competition. I think he brings a lot to the back line, and it would be a mistake to drop him.
Jones really brings nothing to the table, other than his kicking, that Locke doesn't. Locke has the pace and the confidence over Jones, and I think if they tried him out at 7 we would find he has a decent boot too.
The reality is, Stacy is passed his use by and shouldn't be named next season. We should start putting Locke at 7 to get him used to the position and give him some experience for 2010.

It's obvious we have no hope in this competition, so we might as well start preparing for next season.

Mannering - looks to be in dreamland some where
Luck - Can someone tell him he is not a number 6, Cant break the line to safe himself.
Lillyman - Is not an impact player, prone to knock-ons, to simial to luck
Moon - is not a centre!
Hendo - needs to stop trying to milking penilties, ref do fall for it
Lance - Is not a 6

I disagree about Stacey, its not about his skill level its about the team structure - and he stick out like a sore thumb in defence. And looks to rushed in end of the set plays. I wouldnt suggest dropping him cos he sucks but because they should blood new players and need to change the structure - its just not working. To all those who bag Stacey, there are those who stick up for him. Whats happening at the Warriors is just not working. Players need to be dropped and if it continues the coach will be getting edgy. They need to get back to basics

Well if we're ever going to make him a pivot, nows the time. As is said, the season's over for us and we should start preparing for next year. I reckon we try him out at some new positions and see how he goes.

Jones on the bench. Some so-called experienced heads to roll and be dropped. Jones was average...but so were the team around him. Lack of confidence, complancency...call it what you will, by any other name it isn't good enough. These senior players are making dumb, dumb errors you don't see in the U/20s...and the U/20s know how to score tries. Promote a few of these, drop a few of these seniors who are not living up to their paychecks-And let's at least see a team which will be entertainment.
If I was a season ticket holder, I would be wanting a godd rebate for this year, the entertainment factor is sh*t

Locke and Vatuvei were both good. I thought Moon's performance at centre was encouraging. Henderson played very well, I thought. Rapira worked hard.
