Do these figures include magic round?
Do these figures include magic round?
Each days total divided by the number of games played that day (which for the average works out the same as the whole weeks total divided by 8)
The "Brisbane M.R Sep. Crowd" row on towards the bottom of the table shows what the average would be using the seperate per-game/accumulative crowds announced on NRL.com

Are you talking about my table or the one Timmah posted? My table is the averages of each venue, regardless of what clubs were playing. So the magic round crowds only effect the average for Brisbane, the Cronulla average is only games played at shark park. And the titans were the home team for that game, so either way it doesn't effect the Sharks averageRight ...so sharks got the average of the only game played on the Thursday night in Brisbane
...against the titans ( who had worse overall crowd figures than the sharks )
.
Maybe we can get the cushy Friday night gig against the Broncos next year.

And also, the average for Thursday since it was only one game ended up being better than the Saturday, after dividing that 3 ways, and only slightly worse than the Sunday divided 2 ways
Ah ok, ignore what I said then.Timmahs

Im pretty sure they used the same method for Magic Round though

Club averages for the 12 home games:
Capacity looks to be 25k for the new stadium - the best I would expect would be an average around 20k (decent jump from 13k this year)Will be interesting to see what boost the new NQ stadium gives the Cowboys. Hopefully the NRL does the right thing and schedules games there to maximise it and the Cowboys can put a winning team out.
It wont be 20000. The old stadium was 20000 and it was never a sell out except for games against the donkeys.Capacity looks to be 25k for the new stadium - the best I would expect would be an average around 20k (decent jump from 13k this year)
And it will be a pain in the arse to get to, unless they run plenty of buses
Id say most people would come from the other side of town and towards the beaches. They wanted to move it towards the cbd to generate a bit of night time economy. At dairy farmers you had irish finnigans a 30 minute walk away and thats it.I thought it was near the cbd?
Does Townsville have any public transport that takes people to the CBD?And it will be a pain in the arse to get to, unless they run plenty of buses
Really small buses around the general area, i think the cows used to put buses on from around certain spots. Plenty of people used to walk or drive and park locally at dairy farmers, i dont think that would be much of an option nowDoes Townsville have any public transport that takes people to the CBD?
