Fellas - it doesn't seem like we've signed Henry Perenara for any other reason than he is this other blokes brother!

Read what Alex the Eel said - Marcus was considering crossing the Tasman for the chance to play alongside his brother.

I remember reading the article and hearing some people discussing Marcus at the time - they rated him as a top prospect!

Hope this is all confirmed soon!!

As much as a great propspect as Marcus sounds, I don't think we should've signed Henry just to get him.

In all likelihood Henry won't get a spot over Hindy, Morro, Caylo, Wags, Robbo, etc.

Henry is a talented ball player in his own right. Has played hooker and at 5/8 but is mainly a back rower in the Jason Smith/Jim Dymock mould. Injuries have been his downfall during his time at Melbourne and the Dragons. Fit he could well force a few changes in the back row.

sounds good to me, but i think (and hope) that Witt is given first crack at halfback

and i hope we aren't overloading on some positiuons and neglecting others, but depth is always important as we have come to know to great lengths over the last 2 years and hopefully such buys will turn out to be quality depth - not like last year's buying spree?????

i wonder if BS is still in charge of recruitment and retention or has DF chimmed into that again???????

If Marsh's signing is official then I don't really think there are any positions that are not covered.

Hurriflatch....

your probably right, but it all does depend on whether it is official and when and if PJ can continue playing again......so the utility bench spot to me is still a little up in the air and who knows what might happen (again) in the halves

and perhaps (even considering Josh Davis) i am still a little concerned with the centres, as although we have lots of potential talent there, not a great deal of experience, even with Tahu as he will have to adjust somewhat to the centres

the whole halves thing may become a little complicated is my other worry

but hey, it all seems good though

The words 'Star' and 'Parramatta' are mutually exclusive...

Brian Smith will have the lad playing park footy in Dubbo within 6 months!!

Nothing surer. You mark my words!!

The next big 'star' out of the Bulldogs could have 'witness' next to his name.

the latest "star" bulldogs have all come from Parra haven't they......Andrew Ryan, Willie Tonga and soon to be Chris and Nathan Armitt

so get over yourself Dog-E, cause if we are so crap, why does your club keep picking the eyes out of our players.....bit like Rugby saying its so superior to League and then doing the same to our the NRL's playing ranks......

My word!!

Remind me again - HOW many dozen players did Smithy 'poach' this year 4u?...And the last?...And the last?

Remind me again of the history of the 'Parramatta Chequebooks' in Rugby league??

Just because Smith wouldn't know his thumb from his old fella - and which one to cut off in a jam - and let all these good players go in favour of donkeys - don't blame US!...Blame your coach!!

But thanks - Bobcat & Little Willie are indeed - the BIZ!

Look, just call it evens - u took the heart & soul of our Premiership winning side in 1995 the very next year - Smith, McCracken, Dymock & Pay - and turned them into MELONS who won NOTHING!...Again - just because that raid of yours failed - thats your fault. Not ours. ;-)

We will take Ryan & Tonga and make them CHAMPS though...U just see if we don't!

i'm not arguing that BS has some issues, but you keep coming back for more of our players lately and when did BS poach players, they all came of their free will, all of Riddell, Morrisson and Tahu etc?????

and yes thats right Canterbury did sell out to SuperLeague didn't they, yes thats right, had momentarily forgotten about that.....LOL

oh and how did that Oasis project out at Liverpool end up Dog-E????

and how many of your bosses "allegedly" lied in statuatory Declarations about all that fuss??

and exactly how much were you over the salary cap again, 1 million or was it 2???

and how many of your players were involved in an "alleged" gang rape in Coffs Harbour????

yeah you're right your club is really really really great!!!! :D

Sorry, but you asked for this...

Remind me again of the recent history of the "Bulldogs Chequebooks" in rugby league? The resulting 37 points deducted is there for all to see...
