I saw the trailer this morning on Today, and it was brilliant. definitely worth downloading if you have the time. if not, make time.

it'll be on kazaa before long. they "claimed" that it was the first time it had been seen on TV anywhere in the world.

Yeah, that's the one that I saw. I can't wait - just over 6 months to go.

It's amazing how people critisize Phantom Menace, but when the movie came out they rated it highly. Im not a huge Star Wars fan but Ive watched all of them so far, phantom menace was ok not enough action, attack of clones was good but acting was sh*tt, a lot more action though which was good. This one's gonna be interesting.

i never really hated PM, never really liked it but! all the hype and waiting then the movie just fell flat... still very wary of the new one.

i heard a rumour recently that due to the success of the new films, george lucas is now looking to make episodes 7-9. i know hes come out and said no, but i heard this rumour more recently... anyone know yay or nay?

If you look at it in the grand scheme of things, PM was always going to be a slower story than we'd been used to with Eps 4-6 - you have to remember that it was setting up what is essentially a 13 hour story.

Once Ep III has been released, I'm in two minds about what order they should be watched - in some ways, I think it'd be good to watch them 1-2-3-4-5-6, but at the same time, seeing 1-2-3 before 4-5-6, there's a few plot twists, like "Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father" that I think you should watch before you see where it all started.

:? Decisions, decisions.

that will be the dilemna that will plague everyone! the impact of that part of the plot, and the latter 'luke i am your father!' and even to a lesser extent the 'discovery' of who yoda is will be lost to all newcomers! :-k

Remember as well that "Star Wars" was only renamed "A New Hope" a few years back, and it was a while after it's original release before the scrolling text at the start of the film included "Episode IV"

I'm leaning towards the 4-5-6-1-2-3 school of thought.
