Remember as well that "Star Wars" was only renamed "A New Hope" a few years back, and it was a while after it's original release before the scrolling text at the start of the film included "Episode IV"

I'm leaning towards the 4-5-6-1-2-3 school of thought.

Really?? im gonna pull out my old tv recordings and see if they say a new hope.

If you check out the covers of the old VHS tapes, you'll see that up until the last release of the original movie (I think back in '96), they still said Star Wars - "A New Hope" was only used as the title when George Lucas released them the special editions in '97.

If you watch the documentary on Disc 4 of the Trilogy box set, there's footage of the original opening to Star Wars, where there was no mention of "Episode IV" or "A New Hope" at all in the scrolling text.

if thats the case, were empire strikes back and return of the jedi not known as episodes 5 & 6 when they were originally released?

I'm not sure when the Ep. V and Ep VI were included - perhaps someone else has the exact timeline.

Does anyone else think that Vader in that poster looks more like dark Helmet from the Spaceballs movie? Just a thought.

I'm not getting to excited over the trailer. I thought TPM trailer was awesome but the movie was a huge disapointment.
