So the film scored a 7.9 out of 10 from 105,000 votes (7.6 now from 221,000 votes)? And this makes it a disaster?

Yet those who have written in have panned it....

Those thousands who gave it 10 are on something.

It is interesting that they are trying to make Star Wars like Star Trek with overt and subversive political themes based on the politics of current day America.

But the reality is it's just really really bad storywriting. I mean with ESB we wanted to see the third movie to see how it all ended. With the third movie of this instalment no one could give a rats.

Money is probably not the best pro or con argument.

TFA was always going to rake it in due to the unprecedented hype and any Star Wars movie is going to be profitable because it's Star Wars.

I can understand why people would like it, there's a lot to like, but fundamentally it was not a well constructed film. It just wasn't.

You can post up all the negative reviews you want (while completely ignoring the positive ones), it wont change anyones mind nor will it put your trigger monster back in its box

Go back to watching your reruns of Deep Space 9 and give yourself a break form the outside world for a while. Its clearly giving you a case of anxiety

I think the people who think it’s the worst Star Wars movie just hate the movie because, characters and story wise, it wasn’t what they wanted it to be, and that’s fine. No way it’s a 1/10. And don’t try to force others to see your point of view, it won’t work.
I thought it was really good, and if the casino bit was done differently or better it’s one of the best Star Wars movies.
