If DCE is the best 7 available I'm Bob Hope. Suggest wait until the GF is over and see who we've got putting their hand up then.

I'm loving the look of the potential NZ team for this WC... got some good depth too

1. Manu
2. Mulitalo
3. Niukore
4. Hiku
5. Rapana
6. Brown
7. Hughes
8. Bromwich
9. Smith
10. JFH
11. Bromwich
12. Papali'i
13. Tapine

Then you've got players of this calibre that probably don't make the starting team...

Hey all players if you qualify for another nation, play for them hey.

Australia has so many we will scrape up a good team.

Schusters pulled out, disappointing for Samoa. Unless carrying an injury I dont get why players wouldn't want to play in a World Cup, its a rare opportunity in RL.

I think Shuster needs to get himself fit. And he doesn't look anything close to it this whole season. That's good for manly and samoa

Samoan team is hard to predict at the moment due to players yet to decide who to commit to. Or they already have and waiting for the season to be over to come out with it. But this is probably the team that's more likely right now.

1 Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow
2 Tylan May
3 Izack Tago
4 Stephen Crichton
5 Brian To'o
6 Jarome Luai
7 Anthony Milford/Chanel Harris-Tevita
8 Junior Paulo
9 Danny Levi
10 Josh Aloiai
11 Jayd'n Sua
12 Luciano Leilua
13 Raymond Faitala-Mariner

14 Faamanu Brown
15 Martin Taupau
16 Josh Papali'i
17 Spencer Leniu

If this team plays to their potential the English will have a very hard time against samoa. Now if Nanai, Tino and Haas commit, samoa will definitely be the favourites to make the final over England and Tonga. That's a big IF to those 3 players committing

Not the biggest Parra fan but has Lane played himself into the squad? Has been good for the Eels. Any thoughts on the best England team?

I expect France to show up this year. I wouldn't say they have any World Class players but a few in the squad could be considered in the Top 5 in their position in Super League.

1. Arthur Morgue (the Reece Walsh of Super League, could be anything)
2. Paul Marcon
3. Matthieu Juassume
4. Samisoni Langi (French qualified and committed)
5. Fouad Yaha (The Bell cow of the back five)
6. Tony Gigot (If they make the quarters he will have to be best on ground)
7. Theo Fages (No bullshit - NRL standard halfback, highly underrated)
13. Benjamin Garcia (Would make any NRL team's top 17)
12. Benjamin Julien (The french Dallas Johnson)
11. Paul Seguir
10. Lambert Belmas
9. Eloi Pellisier (A very poor mans Harry Grant)
8. Julian Bousquet (injured but could play)

14. Alrix de Costa
15. Justin Sangere (Potentially the next Barrie Mcdermott of SL)
16. Michael Goudemand (Liam Martin with the odd mistake in him)
17. Joe Chan (moving to the Storm next year, very good edge runner)

Just on France, With Toulouse relegated I expect this will be their last squad in a while with 100% top flight experience. Shame really.

Not enough Qld forwards: carrigan and cotter are first picked. Tino and b.hunt chances

It's a very strong team and will become even stronger when those who miss Australian selction join the team. Being on the weaker side of the draw Samoa would be favourites to make it to the final Vs NZ or Australia.

The players are going to cop an enormous amount of flack from the English crowds, expect chants of "where were you born? " " Aussie, Aussie, Aussie Oi oi oi " ..etc and also from the English media ( mostly from Rugby Union writers ) and of course social media ( mostly from Union fans)

If they can ignore the outside noise they'll have a successful world cup.
