The Qld rookies are overawed, but then again the experienced players seem to be no better. Matt Bown is the only maroon doing his job well. There is no agression in the Qld forwards, in fact thye have been dominated by the Blues pack. Without agression Qld has very little to offer. Lockyer and Thurston have few options in attack and their passing has been poor.

NSW is too fast, too big, too smart for Qld. Mason, Hindy, Menzies having huge games in the forwards and the backs are finding heaps of space. 14-0 should become 30plus.

Just about the whole QLD team look completely bewildered and useless. Their forward are nothing but nuffies at this level. When old man Prince and Petero are seen as more muscle up front you know your battling. Won't even comment on the pathetic backrow. Lockyer lacking inspiration in his leadership. Thurston and Bowen the only ones looking half dangerous.

Finch and Anasta are doing a very good job behind a side who you would think had had a seamless preperation, which as we know is far from the case.
